महाराष्ट्र का पत्रकार दिवस: 6 जनवरी
महाराष्ट्र सरकार द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष 6 जनवरी को दिवंगत पत्रकार बालशास्त्री जम्भेकर की स्मृति में पत्रकार दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। मराठी भाषा का पहला समाचार पत्र 'दर्पण' 6 जनवरी, 1832 को प्रकाशित किया गया था, जो बालशास्त्री जम्भेकर का जन्मदिवस भी है।
बालशास्त्री जम्भेकर को मराठी भाषा में पहले मराठी समाचार पत्र और पहले मराठी मासिक पत्रकारिता शुरू करने के प्रयासों के लिए ‘The Father of Marathi Journalism’ के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
Maharashtra Government annually celebrates January 6 as Journalist Day in memory of late journalist Bal Shastri Jambhekar. The first Marathi language newspaper, Darpan, was published on January 6, 1832, which is also the birthday of Bal Shastri Jambhekar.
Bal Shastri Jambhekar is also known as 'The Father of Marathi Journalism' for his efforts in starting the first Marathi newspaper in Marathi language and the first Marathi monthly journalism.

पंतनगर विश्वविद्यालय में सस्य विज्ञान के सहायक प्राध्यापक डा. अमित केसरवानी को द सोसायटी ऑफ ट्रॉपिकल एग्रीकल्चर संस्था ने अपने 11वें वार्षिक सम्मेलन में वर्ष 2021 का डा. ऐपीजे अब्दुल कलाम साइंटिस्ट अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया। यह अवार्ड डा. केसरवानी को कृषि विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय योगदान, पब्लिकेशन्स और नव उत्तीर्ण कृषि छात्रों के करियर संबंधी मार्गदर्शन के लिए सोशल मीडिया में चलाए गए एग्रीएमेटर्स के तहत दिया गया।
वार्षिक सम्मलेन दिसंबर 2019-20 वर्ष 2020 दिल्ली में आयोजित होना था। परन्तु राज्य सरकार द्वारा कोरोना गाइडलाइन्स की वजह से स्थगित हो गया। इसके बाद सोसासटी ने सभी सम्मानित वैज्ञानिकों को डाक से पुरस्कार भेजे हैं।
Dr. Amit Kesarwani, assistant professor of crop science at Pantnagar University, was awarded the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Scientist Award for the year 2021 by the Society of Tropical Agriculture Association at its 11th annual conference. पश्चिम बंगाल 23 जनवरी को ‘देश नायक दिवस’ के रूप में मनाएगा
पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने कहा है कि नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस की जयंती को ‘देश नायक दिवस’ के रूप में मनाया जायेगा. नेताजी की 125वीं जयंती की तैयारियों के लिए आयोजित वर्चुअल मीटिंग में ममता बनर्जी ने यह घोषणा की.
ममता बनर्जी इस बात पर जोर दे रही हैं कि महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी सुभाष चंद्र बोस की जयंती के दिन यानी 23 जनवरी को राष्ट्रीय छुट्टी घोषित किया जाये.

अरुप कुमार गोस्वामी ने आंध्रप्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री जगन मोहन रेड्डी की उपस्थिति में राज्यपाल बिस्वा भूषण हरिचंदन द्वारा आंध्र प्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश (Chief Justice) के रूप में शपथ ग्रहण की। जस्टिस गोस्वामी का कुछ दिन पहले सिक्किम हाईकोर्ट से तबादला कर दिया गया था। उन्होंने जे.के. माहेश्वरी की जगह ली है जिन्हें सिक्किम उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है।

SMCB, SFB के लिए लाइसेंस पाने वाला भारत का पहला अर्बन-कोऑपरेटिव बैंक
उत्तर प्रदेश स्थित शिवालिक मर्केंटाइल को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक (SMCB) भारत का पहला ऐसा शहरी सहकारी बैंक (UCB) बन गया है, जिसने RBI से स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक (SFB) का संचालन करने का लाइसेंस प्राप्त किया है। आरबीआई ने SMCB को कारोबार शुरू करने के लिए 18 महीने का समय दिया था।
SMCB ने वोलंटरी ट्रांजीशन स्कीम के तहत SFB ट्रांजीशन के लिए 06 जनवरी 2021 को बैंकिंग नियामक भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) से वाणिज्यिक बैंकिंग लाइसेंस प्राप्त किया। शिवालिक स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक (SSFB) अप्रैल 2021 से अपना बैंकिंग परिचालन शुरू करेगा।
SSFB, 400,000 ग्राहकों के साथ उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, दिल्ली और उत्तराखंड में अपनी 31 शाखाओं और 250 से अधिक बैंकिंग एजेंटों के जरिए संचालन करता है। 31 मार्च, 2020 तक, बैंक का कुल जमा आधार 1,140 करोड़ रुपये और कुल अग्रिम 719 करोड़ रुपये था।

Uttar Pradesh-based Shivalik Mercantile Co-operative Bank (SMCB) has become the first urban co-operative bank (UCB) in India to obtain a license to operate Small Finance Bank (SFB) from RBI. RBI gave SMCB 18 months to start business.
SMCB obtained commercial banking license from banking regulator Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 06 January 2021 for SFB Transition under Voluntary Transition Scheme. Shivalik Small Finance Bank (SSFB) will start its banking operations from April 2021.
SSFB operates through its 31 branches and over 250 banking agents in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Uttarakhand with 400,000 customers. As on March 31, 2020, the bank had a total deposit base of Rs 1,140 crore and a total advance of Rs 719 crore.

ओंकारेश्वर बांध पर बनेगा विश्व का सबसे बड़ा फ्लोटिंग सोलर प्लांट
विश्व का सबसे बड़ा फ्लोटिंग सोलर प्लांट ओंकारेश्वर बांध के पास बनाया जाएगा। मध्यप्रदेश के खंडवा जिले में नर्मदा नदी पर ओंकारेश्वर बांध पर बन रहे 600 मेगावाट वाले विश्व के सबसे बड़े तैरते हुए (फ्लोटिंग) सौर ऊर्जा परियोजना से वर्ष 2022-23 से सौर ऊर्जा मिलने लगेगी.
00 मेगावाट वाले इस प्रोजेक्ट में अनुमानित निवेश 3 हजार करोड़ रुपए है तथा इसके अंतर्गत 25,00,000 प्लेटें लगना संभावित है।
इस परियोजना के लिए इसी माह पावर ग्रिड द्वारा परियोजना क्षेत्र से खंडवा सब-स्टेशन तक ट्रांसमिशन लाइन रूट सर्वे शुरू कर दिया जाएगा।
इस परियोजना को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वित्त निगम और विश्व बैंक द्वारा वित्त पोषित किया जायेगा। इसके अलावा पॉवर ग्रिड द्वारा भी इस परियोजना को वित्तपोषण प्रदान किया जायेगा।
ओंकारेश्वर बांध के बैकवाटर में फ्लोटिंग सोलर पैनल तैरेंगे और इससे लगभग 2 हजार हेक्टेयर जल क्षेत्र में सोलर पैनल लगाकर बिजली का उत्पादन होगा।
इसके साथ ही बांध का जलस्तर कम-ज्यादा होने पर यह स्वत: ही खुद को एडजस्ट कर लेंगे और तेज लहरों और बाढ़ का भी इन पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ेगा।
The world's largest floating solar plant will be built near the Omkareshwar dam. In the Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, the world's largest floating solar power project of 600 MW, being built on the Omkareshwar Dam on the Narmada River, will start generating solar energy from the year 2022-23.
The estimated investment in this project of 00 MW is 3 thousand crore rupees and it is expected to put 25,00,000 plates under it.
For this project, transmission line route survey from the project area to Khandwa sub-station will be started by the power grid this month.
The project will be funded by the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank. Apart from this, the project will also be funded by Power Grid.
Floating solar panels will float in the backwaters of Omkareshwar dam and this will generate electricity by installing solar panels in about 2 thousand hectare water area.
With this, if the water level of the dam is low, it will automatically adjust itself and strong waves and floods will also have no effect on them.
