The world’s longest pedestrian bridge in Portugal, opened to the public
The world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge built in Portugal has been opened to the public.
The 516 meter long bridge is named ‘516 Arouca (Aroca)’.
It is in the city of Arouca, one hour south of Porto, Portugal.
About 175 meters down, the Paiva River flows through a waterfall.

RLD President and former Union Minister Ajit Singh passed away
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RDL) President and former Union Minister Chaudhary Ajit Singh passed away.
He was the son of the 5th Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Charan Singh.
Chaudhary Ajit Singh was the founder of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RDL).
After differences with the Janata Dal, he formed his own party under the name ‘Janata Dal Ajit’.
But later it was renamed as Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD).
Ajit Singh was a seven-time MP from Baghpat and was the Minister of Commerce and Industry in Prime Minister VP Singh’s government.
In the cabinet of PV Narasimha Rao served as Minister of Food Processing Industries, Minister of Agriculture in the government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Minister of Civil Aviation in Manmohan Singh’s Cabinet.
8 Asian lions of Nehru Zoological Park infected with corona virus
8 Asiatic lions from Hyderabad’s Nehru Zoological Park have been found positive in the SARS-COV2 virus test.
These include 4 lions and the remaining lionesses.
It is the first case in the country when animals have been hit by the corona virus.

The PepsiCo Foundation, a charitable service unit of the PepsiCo company, has partnered with the Sustainable Environment and Ecological Development Society (SEEDS) to launch a community Covid-19 vaccination campaign in India and establish a Covid Health Care Center.
Under the program, special focus will be on five states Maharashtra, Punjab, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana.

AICF launches ‘Checkmate Kovid Initiative’ to fight COVID-19

He was Gandhi’s personal secretary from 1943 to 1948.
