राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस: 12 जनवरी
हर साल 12 जनवरी को स्वामी विवेकानंद की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में भारत में राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिन को मनाए जाने की घोषणा वर्ष 1984 में भारत सरकार द्वारा की गई थी और इसे पहली पहली बार 1985 में मनाया गया था। इसे मनाने का मुख्य लक्ष्य भारत के युवाओं के बीच स्वामी विवेकानंद के आदर्शों और विचारों के महत्व को फैलाना है.
वर्ष 2021 में, स्वामी विवेकानंद की 158 वीं जयंती मनाई जा रही हैं। राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस 2021 का विषय है 'Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building'.

भारतीय सैनिकों को सर्दियों से बचाने के लिए DRDO ने बनाया ‘हिम तापक’
देश के पूर्वी लद्दाख, सियाचीन और कश्मीर जैसे बर्फीले व ऊंचाई वाले इलाकों में सीमा पर ठंड से जूझने वाले भारतीय सेना के जवानों को डीआरडीओ ने खास तोहफा दिया है। दरअसल, डीआरडीओ ने ‘हिम तापक‘ नाम की एक खास डिवाइस बनाई है, जो जवानों को सुरक्षित रखेगी। बता दें कि हिम तापक एक स्पेस हीटिंग डिवाइस है, जो यह सुनिश्चित करेगी कि जवानों की मौत बैकब्लाॅस्ट और कार्बन मोनो ऑक्साइड के जहर के कारण न हो।
डीआरडीओ द्वारा विकसित एलोकल क्रीम अत्यधिक ठंडी जगहों पर तैनात जवानों को फ्रोस्टबाइट, चिलब्लेन व ठंड से होने वाले अन्य जख्मों से बचाएगी।
डीआरडीओ ने लचीली बोतल भी विकसित की है, जो माइनस 50 से 100 डिग्री तापमान का सामना कर सकती है जिससे बोतल के अंदर का पानी नहीं जमेगा।

बांग्लादेश होगा भारतीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव में ‘फोकस देश

The newly elected US President Joe Biden has named Indian-American Sumona Guha as Senior Director of South Asia and Tarun Chhabra as Senior Director of Technology and National Security. सिविल सर्विसेज का जम्मू-कश्मीर कैडर खत्म
केंद्र शासित जम्मू-कश्मीर में आईएएस, आईपीएस और आईएफओएस काडर के अधिकारियों का एजीएमयूटी (अरुणाचल प्रदेश, गोवा, मिजोरम, केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों) के काडर में विलय कर दिया गया है। इस संबंध में एक अहम फैसले में केंद्र सरकार ने आईएएस, आईपीएस और आईएफओएस अधिकारियों का जम्मू-कश्मीर काडर खत्म कर दिया है।
इससे पहले जम्मू-कश्मीर कैडर के अधिकारियों की नियुक्ति दूसरे राज्यों में नहीं होती थी. सरकार के नए आदेश के बाद अब जम्मू-कश्मीर के अधिकारियों को दूसरे राज्य में भी नियुक्त किया जा सकेगा.
केंद्रीय कानून और न्याय मंत्रालय ने गुरुवार को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित अधिसूचना जारी की। जम्मू कश्मीर पुनगर्ठन संशोधन अध्यादेश 2021 के अंतर्गत जारी की गई अधिसूचना के तहत जम्मू-कश्मीर काडर के आईएएस, आईपीएस और भारतीय वन सेवा के अधिकारियों को अब एजीएमयूटी काडर के तहत लाया गया है।

केंद्रीय सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी, खादी एवं ग्रामोद्योग आयोग द्वारा विकसित एक अभिनव पेंट को लॉन्च करेंगे। ‘खादी प्राकृतिक पेंट’ नामक यह पेंट पर्यावरण अनुकूल, विष-रहित है, जो फफूंद-रोधी, जीवाणु-रोधी गुणों के साथ अपनी तरह का पहला उत्पाद है।
मुख्य घटक के रूप में गाय के गोबर पर आधारित यह पेंट किफायती और गंधहीन है, जिसे भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो द्वारा प्रमाणित किया गया है।
खादी प्राकृतिक पेंट दो रूपों यानी डिस्टेंपर पेंट तथा प्लास्टिक इम्यूलेशन पेंट में उपलब्ध है।
खादी प्राकृत पेंट का उत्पादन प्रधान मंत्री के किसानों की आय बढ़ाने के दृष्टिकोण से जुड़ा हुआ है।
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will launch an innovative paint developed by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. This paint, called 'Khadi natural paint', is eco-friendly, non-toxic, which is the first product of its kind with anti-fungal, antibacterial properties.
Based on cow dung as the main ingredient, this paint is economical and odorless, certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
Khadi natural paint is available in two forms ie Distemper Paint and Plastic Emulation Paint.
The production of Khadi Prakrit paints is linked to the Prime Minister's vision of increasing the income of farmers.
