गणतंत्र दिवस पर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में कोई विदेशी नेता नहीं होंगे
कोरोना की वजह से भारत ने इस बार देश का 72वां गणतंत्र दिवस बिना किसी विदेशी मेहमान के मनाने का फैसला किया है। विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता अनुराग श्रीवास्तव ने कहा कि कोविड-19 की वैश्विक स्थिति के कारण यह निर्णय लिया गया। इस वर्ष गणतंत्र दिवस पर किसी भी सरकार का प्रमुख हमारे गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल नहीं होगा।
कोविड की वजह से ब्रिटेन के प्रधानमंत्री बोरिस जॉनसन के अंतिम मौके पर समारोह में न आने के फैसले के बाद भारत ने विदेशी मेहमान को न्योता न देने का मन बना लिया था।
पिछले पांच दशकों में यह पहला गणतंत्र दिवस होगा, जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर कोई विदेशी मेहमान नहीं होगा। इससे पहले सन 1966 में गणतंत्र दिवस परेड में कोई विदेशी मेहमान शामिल नहीं हो सका था, जब 11 जनवरी को लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के अचानक निधन के बाद 24 जनवरी को इंदिरा गांधी ने प्रधानमंत्री पद की शपथ ली थी। इसके अलावा सन 1952 और 1953 में भी भारतीय गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह में कोई विदेशी प्रतिनिधि शामिल नहीं हुआ था। इंडोनेशिया के राष्ट्रपति सुकर्णो 1950 में गणतंत्र दिवस की शोभा बढ़ाने वाले पहले मुख्य अतिथि थे.
Because of Corona, India has decided to celebrate the 72nd Republic Day of the country this time without any foreign guests. Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said that this decision was taken due to the global situation of Kovid-19. This year on Republic Day, the head of any government will not attend our Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest.
India had made up its mind not to invite foreign guests after the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson decided not to attend the ceremony on the last occasion due to Kovid.
This will be the first Republic Day in the last five decades, with no foreign guests as chief guests. Earlier in the year 1966, no foreign guests could attend the Republic Day Parade when Indira Gandhi was sworn in as Prime Minister on January 24 after the sudden demise of Lal Bahadur Shastri on January 11. Apart from this, in 1952 and 1953, no foreign representatives attended the Indian Republic Day celebrations. Indonesia's President Sukarno was the first chief guest to grace Republic Day in 1950.
भौतिकी वैज्ञानिक रोहिणी गोडबोले को मिला फ्रांस का प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान
मुंबई की भौतिक विज्ञान की वैज्ञानिक रोहिणी गोडबोले को फ्रांस के प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान ऑर्डर नेशनल ड्यू मेरिट से सम्मानित किया गया है। रोहिणी को ये पुरस्कार महिलाओं को विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में आने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने और फ्रांस और इंडिया के बीच सहयोग देने के कारण दिया गया है। बेंगलुरू के आईआईएससी ने ये घोषणा 13 जनवरी को की है। जिसमे उन्हें भौतिकी का पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा।
रोहिणी गोडबोले सेंटर फॉर आई एनर्जी फिजिक्स, भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान बैंगलुरू में प्रोफेसर हैं।
फिजिक्स के क्षेत्र में उनके द्वारा किए गए सराहनीय कार्यों के लिए 2019 में उन्हें भारत सरकार द्वारा पद्मश्री से सम्मानित किया गया। इससे पहले 2009 में उन्हें सत्येंद्रनाथ बोस पदक मिला। रोहिणी ने अब तक तीन किताबों का संपादन किया। उनकी एक किताब लीलावती की बेटियों, भारत की महिला वैज्ञानिकों पर आधारित थी। उन्होंने 150 से अधिक शोध पत्रों का लेखन भी किया है।
Mumbai's Physics Scientist Rohini Godbole has been awarded the Order of National du Merit, France's prestigious honor. The award has been given to Rohini for encouraging women to enter the field of science and for supporting cooperation between France and India. IISc of Bangalore made this announcement on 13 January. In which he will be given the prize of Physics.
Rohini is a professor at Godbole Center for I Energy Physics, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
In 2019, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for the commendable work done by him in the field of Physics. Earlier in 2009, he received the Satyendranath Bose medal. Rohini has edited three books so far. One of her books was based on Lilavati's daughters, women scientists of India. He has also authored more than 150 research papers.
देश की पहली एयर टैक्सी सर्विस की हुई शुरुआत
भारत की पहली एयर टैक्सी सेवा (Air Taxi Service) शुरू हो गई है. मकर सक्रांति के मौके पर हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने चंडीगढ़ से हिसार के बीच इस सेवा की शुरुआत की है. ये टैक्सी महज 50 मिनट में चंडीगढ़ इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट से हिसार एयरपोर्ट पहुंच जाएगी. यानी आपका 4 घंटे का सफर अब 50 मिनट में ही पूरा हो सकेगा.
खास बात ये है कि इस एयर टैक्सी का किराया सड़क पर दौड़ने वाली टैक्सी जितना ही होगा. इस एयर टैक्सी में भी 4 सवारी बैठ सकती हैं. जिनका हरियाणा से चंडीगढ़ तक का किराया प्रति व्यक्ति 1755 रुपये है. एयर टैक्सी के पहले चरण में चंडीगढ़-हिसार के बीच सर्विस की शुरुआत हो गई है. जल्द ही इस सर्विस को देश के अलग-अलग 26 रूटों पर शुरू कर दिया जाएगा. नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्रालय ने रीजनल कनेक्टिविटी स्कीम के तहत 11 रूटों पर इस टैक्सी को चलाने की अनुमति भी दे दी है.

15 जनवरी को तमिलनाडु में मनाया गया तिरुवल्लुवर दिवस
15 जनवरी 2021 को तिरुवल्लुवर दिवस मनाया गया। यह तमिलनाडु में पोंगल समारोह के एक भाग के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह तमिल कवि और दार्शनिक तिरुवल्लुवर के सम्मान में मनाया जाता है। तिरुवल्लुवर “थिरुक्कू” नामक रचना के लिए जाना जाता है। यह नैतिकता, प्रेम आर्थिक और राजनीतिक मामलों पर दोहों का एक संग्रह है। पहला तिरुवल्लुवर दिवस 1935 में 17 और 18 मई को मनाया गया था।
एक मंदिर भी तिरुवल्लुवर को समर्पित है। यह एकाम्बारेश्वर मंदिर परिसर के भीतर चेन्नई के मायलापुर में बनाया गया था। यह मंदिर 16वीं शताब्दी की शुरुआत में बनाया गया था। “वल्लुवर कोटम” नामक एक मंदिर-स्मारक चेन्नई में वर्ष 1976 में बनाया गया था। मंदिर-स्मारक एशिया में सबसे बड़े सभागारों में से एक है। कन्याकुमारी में थिरुवल्लुवर की 133 फुट ऊंची प्रतिमा भी है।
Thiruvalluvar day was observed on 15 January 2021. It is celebrated as a part of the Pongal celebrations in Tamil Nadu. It is celebrated in honor of the Tamil poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar. Thiruvalluvar is known for the composition called "Thirukku". It is a collection of couplets on morality, love, economic and political matters. The first Thiruvalluvar day was observed in 1935 on 17 and 18 May.
A temple is also dedicated to Thiruvalluvar. It was built in Mylapur, Chennai within the Ekambareswar temple complex. This temple was built in the early 16th century. A temple-memorial named "Valluvar Kotam" was built in Chennai in the year 1976. The temple-monument is one of the largest auditoriums in Asia. Kanyakumari also has a 133-foot tall statue of Thiruvalluvar.
DRDO ने बनाई भारत की पहली स्वदेशी मशीन पिस्टल ‘ASMI’
रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने भारतीय सेना के साथ मिलकर भारत की पहली स्वदेशी मशीन पिस्टल ‘ASMI’ विकसित की है। स्वदेशी रूप से विकसित यह मशीन पिस्टल रक्षा बलों द्वारा इस्तेमाल की जा रही 9 मिमी पिस्टल को रीप्लेस करेगी। इस मशीन पिस्टल की फायरिंग रेंज 100 मीटर है और यह इजरायल की उजी सीरीज की बंदूकों की श्रेणी में है। पिछले 4 महीनों में विकास के दौरान इस पिस्टल से 300 से अधिक राउंड फायर किए गये हैं। यह पिस्टल अब जल्द ही भारतीय सेना को सौंप दी जाएगी।

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) along with the Indian Army has developed India's first indigenous machine pistol 'ASMI'.
