73 वां शहीद दिवस: 30 जनवरी
हर साल 30 जनवरी को महात्मा गांधी की स्मृति में शहीद दिवस या Martyr's Day मनाया जाता है, जिनकी 1948 में नाथूराम गोडसे द्वारा बिड़ला हाउस में हत्या कर दी गई थी। भारत की स्वतंत्रता के संघर्ष में स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों द्वारा किए गए बलिदानों को याद करने और उनके प्रति हमारे सम्मान को दर्शाने के लिए दिन मनाया जाता है।
इसके अलावा ध्यान देने वाली बात यह भी है कि 23 मार्च को भगत सिंह, शिवराम राजगुरु और सुखदेव थापर के सम्मान में भारत में शहीद दिवस मनाया जाता है, जिन्हें 1931 में इसी दिन फांसी लगा दी गई थी ।

गणतंत्र दिवस परेड पुरस्कार प्रदान किये गये
केंद्रीय खेल मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने हाल ही में 2021 परेड के लिए गणतंत्र दिवस पुरस्कार प्रदान किए हैं। 2021 गणतंत्र दिवस परेड में राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से 17, रक्षा मंत्रालय से 6, और विभिन्न मंत्रालयों, विभागों और अर्धसैनिक बलों से 9 झांकियों को शामिल किया गया था। 32 झांकियों में से उत्तर प्रदेश की झांकी को सर्वश्रेष्ठ झांकी के लिए पुरस्कार दिया गया। यूपी की झांकी का विषय “अयोध्या: उत्तर प्रदेश की सांस्कृतिक विरासत” था।
त्रिपुरा की झांकी को दूसरी सर्वश्रेष्ठ झांकी घोषित किया गया। राज्य की झांकी ने सामाजिक-आर्थिक मापदंडों में आत्मनिर्भरता प्राप्त करने के लिए पर्यावरण के अनुकूल परंपराओं को प्रदर्शित किया।
तीसरी सर्वश्रेष्ठ झांकी का पुरस्कार उत्तराखंड की झांकी को दिया गया। राज्य की झांकी का विषय ‘देव भूमि’ था।
विभिन्न मंत्रालयों, विभागों और अर्धसैनिक बलों की 9 झांकी में से जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग की झांकी ने शीर्ष पुरस्कार जीता है। विभाग का विषय ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत अभियान: COVID वैक्सीन विकास’ था। केंद्रीय लोक निर्माण विभाग (सीपीडब्ल्यूडी) की झांकी को सशस्त्र बलों के नायकों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए एक विशेष पुरस्कार दिया गया। इस झांकी का विषय ‘अमर जवान’ था।
Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju recently presented the Republic Day Awards for the 2021 parade. The 2021 Republic Day parade featured 17 tableaux from states and union territories, 6 from the Ministry of Defense, and 9 from various ministries, departments and paramilitary forces. Out of 32 tableaux, Uttar Pradesh tableau was awarded for the best tableau. The theme of the UP tableau was "Ayodhya: Cultural Heritage of Uttar Pradesh".
The tableau of Tripura was declared the second best tableau. The state tableau displayed environmentally friendly traditions to achieve self-sufficiency in socio-economic parameters.
The third best tableau award was given to Uttarakhand tableau. The theme of the state tableau was 'Dev Bhoomi'.
Among the 9 tableaux of various ministries, departments and paramilitary forces, the Department of Biotechnology has won the top prize. The theme of the department was 'Self-reliant India Campaign: COVID Vaccine Development'. The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) tableau was given a special award to pay tribute to the heroes of the armed forces. The theme of this tableau was 'Amar Jawan'.

कोविड-19 रिस्पांस इंडेक्स हाल ही में सिडनी स्थित लोवी इंस्टीट्यूट द्वारा जारी किया गया था। 98 देशों के कोरोना वायरस प्रदर्शन इंडेक्स में भारत ने 86वें नंबर पर जगह बनाई है.
संकट का सफलतापूर्वक सामना करने वाले देशों की सूची में न्यूजीलैंड, वियतनाम और ताइवान को पहली, दूसरी और तीसरी रैंक मिली है.
अमेरिका को महामारी से लड़ाई के आधार पर इंडेक्स में नीचे 94वें नंबर पर रखा गया. दक्षिण एशियाई देशों में श्रीलंका को प्रदर्शन के मामले में 10वीं रैंक मिली, मालदीव को 25, पाकिस्तान को 69, नेपाल को 70 और बांग्लादेश ने 84वें नंबर पर जगह बनाई.
इस सूची में सबसे नीचे ब्राजील को रखा गया है। चीन को अध्ययन में शामिल नहीं किया गया था क्योंकि इसकी परीक्षण दरें सार्वजनिक रूप से उपलब्ध नहीं हैं।

New Zealand, Vietnam and Taiwan rank first, second and third in the list of countries successfully facing the crisis.
The US was ranked 94th in the index based on the fight against the epidemic. Among South Asian countries, Sri Lanka got 10th rank in terms of performance, Maldives 25, Pakistan 69, Nepal 70 and Bangladesh 84.
Brazil is placed at the bottom of this list. China was not included in the study because its test rates are not publicly available.

HSBC, head of global financial services, has inaugurated the International Banking Unit (IBU) branch at GIFT City near Gandhinagar city in Gujarat. HSBC is one of the first global financial institutions to set up a branch in the Gift City of India and was the first bank to get a license from the newly established International Financial Services Center Authority (IFSCA). HSBC's IBU branch in Gujarat International Finance Tech-City (GIFT City) will be effective from 27 January.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Swaminathan Janakiraman and Ashwini Kumar Tiwari as the new Managing Directors (MD) of State Bank of India (SBI) for a period of three years. Prior to this, Swaminathan Janakiraman was the deputy managing director (finance) at SBI and Ashwani Kumar Tiwari was an assistant to SBI, MD and CEO of SBI Card.
SBI has one chairman and four managing directors. Dinesh Kumar Khara is the current chairman of the bank. The other two MDs of the bank, C.S. Setty and Ashwani Bhatia. Both positions were vacant since October 2020.

DRDO ने किया आकाश-एनजी मिसाइल का सफल परीक्षण
रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) ने ओडिशा के तट से इंटीग्रेटेड टेस्ट रेंज से आकाश एनजी (न्यू जेनरेशन) मिसाइल का सफल प्रक्षेपण किया. आकाश एनजी एक नई पीढ़ी का सरफेस-टू-एयर मिसाइल है जिसका उपयोग भारतीय वायुसेना द्वारा उच्च पैंतरेबाजी वाले हवाई खतरों को रोकने के उद्देश्य से किया जाता है. ट्रेजेक्टरी के दौरान उच्च युद्धाभ्यास करके सभी परीक्षण उद्देश्यों को पूरा किया.

Akash NG is a new generation surface-to-air missile used by the Indian Air Force with the aim of preventing high maneuvering air threats. ‘प्रबुद्ध भारत’ रामकृष्ण आर्डर की एक मासिक पत्रिका है। इस पत्रिका की शुरुआत स्वामी विवेकानंद ने वर्ष 1896 में की थी। अद्वैत आश्रम, मायावती द्वारा ‘प्रबुद्ध भारत’ की 125 वीं वर्षगांठ समारोह का आयोजन किया जाएगा। ‘प्रबुद्ध भारत’ पत्रिका ने देश के प्राचीन आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान के संदेश को फैलाने के लिए एक प्रमुख माध्यम के रूप में कार्य किया है।
