Raimona becomes the sixth national park of Assam
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has declared the Raimona Reserved Forest as the sixth National Park of the state on the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, 2021.
This national park is located in the Gosaigaon subdivision of Kokrajhar district.
Raimona National Park is famous for the Golden Langur, it has Asiatic Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger, Clouded Leopard, Indian Gaur, Wild Water Buffalo, Spotted Deer, Hornbill, more than 150 species of butterflies, 170 species of birds, 380 varieties of plants and There are also orchids.
It is adjacent to the Royal Manas National Park in Bhutan.
Area: 422 sq km

Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurates Indus Best Mega Food Park in Chhattisgarh
Union Food Processing Minister Narendra Singh Tomar along with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated ‘Indus Best Mega Food Park’ in a virtual form in the presence of Union Minister of State for Food Processing Rameshwar Teli.
The park will provide direct and indirect employment to about 5,000 people and benefit about 25,000 farmers in the Central Processing Center (CPC) and PPC catchment area.

Rajasthan government started ‘Chief Minister Anupriti Coaching Scheme’
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced to implement ‘Mukhyamantri Anupriti Coaching Scheme’, free coaching for meritorious girl students of the state.
Under this scheme, such students, whose family’s annual income is less than Rs 8 lakh per annum, will be able to prepare under the ‘Mukhyamantri Anupriti Coaching Scheme’.
Along with this, such students whose parents are drawing salary up to Pay Matrix Level-11 as State Government Personnel will also be eligible for the scheme.
The benefit of this scheme will be available for a period of one year only.
‘Raabta campaign’ successfully completed in Punjab
Government teachers in Punjab have successfully completed the one week campaign ‘Raabta Campaign’ organized by the State School Education Department from 24th to 31st May.
12.71 lakh parents of primary students were contacted through this campaign.
The aim of the event was to facilitate phone contact between parents and teachers, to discuss about education, health and how to prevent children from getting infected with COVID.
