विश्व रेडियो दिवस: 13 फरवरी
13 फरवरी को विश्व रेडियो दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य मनोरंजन, सूचना तथा संचार माध्यम के रूप में रेडियो के महत्व को रेखांकित करना है। इस अवसर पर यूनेस्को प्रसारकों, संगठनों तथा समुदायों के साथ मिलकर विभिन्न गतिविधियों का आयोजन करता है।
विश्व रेडियो दिवस 2021 का विषय है "New World, New Radio".
विश्व रेडियो दिवस: यूनेस्को ने 2011 में 36वीं महासभा में 13 फरवरी को विश्व रेडियो दिवस के रूप में मनाये जाने की घोषणा की थी। बाद में संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा इसे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दिवस घोषित किया गया। इसी दिन 1946 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र रेडियो ने पहला कॉल साइन ट्रांसमिट किया था। पहली बार विश्व रेडियो दिवस को 2012 में मनाया गया था।

हाल ही में जारी फाइनेंशियल टाइम्स की ग्लोबल MBA रैंकिंग 2021 की लिस्ट में इंडियन स्कूल ऑफ बिजनेस (ISB) ने देश में सर्वश्रेष्ठ संस्थान का स्थान हासिल किया है। जारी रैंकिंग में ऐसे इंस्टीट्यूट और कॉलेज को शामिल किया गया है, जो दुनिया भर में बेस्ट MBA कोर्स प्रदान करते हैं। इस लिस्ट में ISB ने दुनिया भर में 23वां स्थान हासिल किया है।

The Indian School of Business (ISB) has ranked as the best institution in the country in the recently released Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2021 list. The ongoing rankings include institutions and colleges that offer the best MBA courses worldwide. ISB has ranked 23rd worldwide in this list.
INSEAD from France and Singapore topped the global ranking. The rankings are calculated based on salaries drawn by alumni after three years of graduation, quality of research, value for money, among others. This year, Harvard, Stanford and Wharton have suspended participation.

भारतीय राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस: 13 फरवरी 2021
भारत में, सरोजिनी नायडू की जयंती मनाने के लिए प्रतिवर्ष 13 फरवरी को राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस मनाया जाता है. इस वर्ष राष्ट्र ने अपनी 142वीं जयंती मनाई. उनका जन्म 13 फरवरी, 1879 को हुआ था. वह अपनी कविताओं के कारण 'नाइटिंगेल ऑफ इंडिया’ या 'भारत कोकिला’ के उपनाम से प्रसिद्ध थीं.
सरोजिनी नायडू न केवल एक स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थीं, बल्कि वे संयुक्त प्रांत, वर्तमान उत्तर प्रदेश की पहली महिला राज्यपाल भी बनीं.

‘जलाभिषेकम’ जल संरक्षण अभियान
मध्य प्रदेश की राज्य सरकार ने 'जलाभिषेकम' नामक एक जल संरक्षण अभियान शुरू किया है, जिसके तहत 57,000 से अधिक जल संरचनाओं का निर्माण किया गया है. इस अभियान का उद्घाटन केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने वर्चुअली किया था.
यह अभियान 'प्रत्येक खेत के लिए पानी और हर हाथ के लिए काम' के लक्ष्य को भी पूरा करेगा.
जल संरचनाओं को मनरेगा योजना के साथ जोड़कर COVID युग के दौरान बनाया गया था.
इन जल संरचनाओं की लगत 2,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक है और एक इंच भूमि को डूबे बिना 2.50 लाख हेक्टेयर भूमि की सिंचाई करेगा.
The state government of Madhya Pradesh has started a water conservation campaign called 'Jalabhishekam', under which more than 57,000 water structures have been constructed. The campaign was virtually inaugurated by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
This campaign will also fulfill the goal of 'water for every farm and work for every hand'.
The water structures were built during the COVID era by linking them with the MNREGA scheme.
These water structures cost more than Rs 2,000 crore and will irrigate 2.50 lakh hectares of land without submerging an inch of land.

भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (RBI) वित्तीय शिक्षा का प्रसार करने के लिए 8 से 12 फरवरी, 2021 तक वित्तीय साक्षरता सप्ताह (Financial Literacy Week) मना रहा है। RBI साल 2016 से हर साल एक विशेष विषय पर वित्तीय शिक्षा संदेशों को लोगों तक पहुँचाने के लिए वित्तीय साक्षरता सप्ताह (FLW) का आयोजन पूरे देश में कर रहा है।
वर्ष 2021 FLW का विषय है ”Credit Discipline and Credit from Formal Institutions”.

Twitter का विकल्प मेड इन इंडिया “Koo ऐप”
भारत में विदेशी सोशल मीडिया एप्स के विकल्प की तलाश लंबे समय से चल रही है, हालांकि अभी यह तलाश जारी है। माइक्रोब्लॉगिंग साइट के विकल्प के तौर पर पिछले साल tooter नाम से एक वेबसाइट लॉन्च हुई और अब Koo App ट्विटर के विकल्प के तौर पर तहलका मचा रहा है।
एक भारतीय डेवलपर Aprameya Radhakrishna ने अपनी टीम के साथ मिलकर Koo ऐप बनाया है, जो ट्विटर (Twitter) का भारतीय विकल्प है। केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयूष गोयल और रविशंकर प्रसाद ने भी कू एप पर अपना अकाउंट बना लिया है। बता दें कि कू ने आत्मनिर्भर भारत एप्लीकेशन चैलेंज में भी हिस्सा लिया था। Koo एप की चर्चा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी मन की बात कार्यक्रम में भी कर चुके हैं।
यह हिंदी, अंग्रेजी समेत आठ भारतीय भाषाओं में उपलब्ध है। Koo को एप और वेबसाइट दोनों तरीके से इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। इसका भी इंटरफेस ट्विटर जैसा ही है। इसमें शब्दों की सीमा 350 है।

SBI का अनुमान FY21 के लिए भारत की GDP -7.0 प्रतिशत
भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (SBI) के आर्थिक अनुसंधान विभाग ने FY21 के लिए भारत के GDP अनुमानों को संशोधित कर 7.0% तक संकुचित कर दिया है. इससे पहले जीडीपी का अनुमान -7.4% पर लगाया गया था. SBI रिसर्च रिपोर्ट ने FY22 के लिए अपने सकल घरेलू उत्पाद के पूर्वानुमान को 11 प्रतिशत पर बरकरार रखा है.
