The day was established in 1989 by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

World Malala Day: 12 July
World Malala Day is celebrated every year on 12 July to honor the rights of women and children around the world.
The United Nations has declared the birthday of Pakistan’s child and women’s rights activist Malala Yousafzai as this day.
Malala Yousafzai, a public voice for girls’ education, was shot by Taliban gunmen on October 9, 2012.
She became the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 at the age of 17.
She has founded the Malala Fund, a non-profit organization that helps young girls go to school.
She is also the co-author of the famous book titled ‘I am Malala’.
The documentary ‘He Named Me Malala’ made on him was shortlisted for the Oscars in the year 2015.
The first train reached Manipur, the state included in the railway map
A passenger train ‘Rajdhani Express’ arrived for trial run from Silchar railway station in Assam at Wangichunpao railway station in the country’s northeastern state of Manipur.
With this trial run, Manipur got a place on the map of Indian Railways.
This train covered a distance of 11 km between the two Northeast stations.
On 16 April 1853, the first train in India ran between Bori Bunder (Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus) to Thane (Mumbai), a distance of 35 km.
The train was pulled by three steam locomotives Sultan, Sindhu and Sahib.

Wimbledon 2021
World number one tennis player Novak Djokovic won the title by defeating Italy Matteo Berrettini in the final match of Wimbledon 2021.
Djokovic has won the Wimbledon title for the sixth time.

Wimbledon is the oldest tennis tournament in the world.

India’s first ‘Maritime Arbitration Center’ to be built in Gandhinagar, Gujarat
An MoU has been signed between ‘Gujarat Maritime University‘ and ‘International Financial Services Center Authority’ at ‘GIFT’ City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City) in Gujarat for setting up of ‘Gujarat International Maritime Arbitration Center’ (GIMAC). went.

India’s first cryptogemic garden opened in Uttarakhand
India’s first cryptogamic garden was inaugurated in Deoban area of Dehradun district in Uttarakhand.
This garden is situated at an altitude of 9000 feet.
It contains about 50 different species of cryptograms.
Cryptograms are plants that do not spread through seeds.
