This year the 83rd Raising Day of CRPF is being celebrated.
CRPF was established on 27 July 1939.

The ancient city of Gujarat Dholavira has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage

In the 44th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, UNESCO has included the huge site of Indus Valley Civilization Dholivara in Gujarat in its World Heritage List.
This session of the committee is being chaired from Fuzhou, China.
With this it has become the 40th World Heritage Site of India.
Gujarat now has four World Heritage Sites:

  1. Champaner near Pavagadh
  2. Rani ki Vav in Patan
  3. Ahmedabad
  4. Dholivara

Recently ‘Kakatiya Rudreshwar Ramappa Temple’ located at Palampet in Mulugu district of Telangana has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
