She is considered the father of the modern nursing movement.

Florence Nightingale, an icon of mercy and service, is famous as “The Lady with the Lamp” (the lady with the lamp).
She was the first woman to be given the Order of Merit in 1907.
International Nurses Day has been celebrated since 1965 by the International Nurses Council.
WHO declared the year 2020 as ‘Year of Nurse and Midwife’ to commemorate the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale.
Sarojini Naidu, the first female governor of India (Uttar Pradesh), is known as the ‘Nightingale of India’.

The satellite weighs 40 kg which will be launched on a Falcon 9 rocket.

This digital currency was created with inspiration from a viral dog meme.
Now DogCoin has become the fourth largest cryptocurrency.

Padmakumar M Nair appointed CEO of National Asset Reconstruction Company
The Central Government appointed Padmakumar M Nair as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the recently formed National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited- NARCL.
Nair is currently the Chief General Manager at State Bank of India.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman proposed the formation of a National Asset Reconstruction Company in the Union Budget 2021, so that banks can get relief from the NPA (Non-Performing Asset).
