Kamlesh Kumar Pant appointed as the new chairman of ‘National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA)’
IAS officer Kamlesh Kumar Pant has been appointed as the new chairman of the ‘National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA)’ by the central government.
He will replace Shubhra Singh.

Quad countries to start ‘Malabar naval exercise’ 2021
The navies of the Quad nation will begin the annual ‘Malabar Naval Exercise 2021’ off the coast of Guam in the Indo-Pacific.
The port phase of the exercise will be conducted on August 21-24 and the sea phase on August 25-29.
Quad Countries: The Quad countries include India, America, Japan, and Australia.

RBI indicts Neeraj Chopra for online banking fraud online banking fraud
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched a campaign to alert people and prevent digital banking frauds.
RBI has included Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra in this campaign.
Neeraj Chopra of Haryana became the first athletics player from India to win a gold medal in the men’s javelin throw event at the Tokyo Olympics on 7 August 2021.
Also Neeraj is India’s second gold medalist in individual Olympic event after Abhinav Bindra.
