World Hemophilia Day is observed every year on 17 April with the aim of raising awareness for hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.
The World Federation of Haemophilia has been celebrating this day since 1989.
World Haemophilia Day is celebrated on the birthday (17 April) of Frank Schneabel, the founder of the World Federation of Haemophilia.

US temporarily halts Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine

The US has temporarily banned the Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine following reports of blood clots in the person.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration, FDA said in a joint statement that they are investigating a case of blood clotting in six women a few days after vaccination.

UAE will send ‘Rashid’ unmanned rover to the moon by 2022

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Space Center has announced the sending of its first unmanned rover to the moon.
Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center has said that it is partnering with Japan’s IceSpace company to send a rover to the Moon by 2022 instead of 2024.
The rover is named ‘Rashid’ after Dubai’s ruling family and will land on the moon using IceSpace’s Lunar lander.
Recently the UAE has announced the name of its first female astronaut Noura al-Mataroshi.

US President Biden announces full withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan

US President Joseph Biden has announced that by 11 September 2021, all US troops will be withdrawn from Afghanistan.
Biden said, “US troops along with NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) countries and other allied countries will also return from Afghanistan before the completion of 20 years of the 9/11 incident” this year.
On 11 September 2001, the United States was attacked by the terrorist organization al-Qaeda, so the US sent its troops to Afghanistan in 2001 to eliminate the Taliban.

This year, e-Panchayat Awards have been announced in three different categories.
Under this, Uttar Pradesh has been awarded first place in the E-Panchayat Award 2021.
Assam and Chhattisgarh are in second place while Odisha and Tamil Nadu are in third place.
These awards will be given during Panchayati Raj Day celebrations in Delhi on 24 April.
