Andhra Pradesh launched ‘Jagannanna Vidya Deewana’ scheme
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched the Jagannanna Vidya Deewana scheme in the state to promote the education of students.
For this scheme, the first installment of 672 crore rupees was released.
Through this scheme, scholarships will be awarded to all those students who are unable to pay their fees due to financial burden.

Priyanka Mohite, 28, of Satara, Maharashtra, has become the first Indian woman mountaineer to conquer Mount Annapurna.
Mount Annapurna is a part of the Himalayas in Nepal, which has an altitude of more than 8,000 meters.
Mount Annapurna is the 10th highest mountain peak in the world.
Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world.
Piyush Goyal launched ‘Startup India Seed Fund Scheme’
Piyush Goyal, Minister in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched the ‘Startup India Seed Fund Scheme’ (SISFS).
The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product testing, market penetration and commercialization.
The scheme will be implemented for the next 4 years from April 1, 2021.

Former Governor of Reserve Bank of India Maidavolu Narasimham passe away at the age of 94.
He was the 13th Governor of the RBI (2 May 1977 – 30 November 1977).
He was famous as the “father of Indian banking reform”.

Vaccination of all people above 18 years from May 1
The Government of India announced the next phase of COVID-19 vaccination from May 1, in which all people over 18 years of age can get vaccinated.
The first phase of vaccination began on January 16, 2021.
Under this, the front line workers and those above 60 years of age were allowed to be vaccinated.
After that in the second phase, vaccines are being given to people 45 years and above.

RBI constitutes Sudarshan Sen committee
