‘Global Goals Awards’ 2021 announced by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
As part of the recent Goalkeepers campaign, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has announced the ‘Goalkeepers Global Goals Awards’ 2021.
These awards are given in the following categories:
Global Goalkeeper Award 2021: South Africa’s Phumzile Mlambo-Angkuka has been awarded for her efforts to fight for gender equality and address the disproportionate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women and girls.
She is the former Secretary-General of the UN and the Executive Director of UN Women.
Changemaker Award 2021: Feroz Faiza Beether (Bangladesh) has been given this award.
Faroz Faiza is the co-founder of Monor School, an anonymous online platform active in the field of mental health.
Pragati Puraskar 2021: Jennifer Kolpas (Colombia) has been given this award for clean water and sanitation improvement.
Colpas is the co-founder and executive director of ‘Tierra Greta’
Campaign Award 2021: Satta Sheriff (Liberia) has been awarded for promoting gender equality.
Sheriff is the founder and executive director of Action for Justice and Human Rights (AJHR).

‘Antyodaya Diwas’ is celebrated every year on 25 September to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.
For the first time this day was celebrated in the year 2015.
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was born on 25 September 1916 in Dhanakia village near Jaipur.
He started an Indian weekly magazine called ‘Panchjanya’ in Lucknow in 1948.
Apart from this, he also started magazines named ‘Rashtra Dharma’ and ‘Swadesh’.
On 21 October 1951, ‘Bharatiya Jana Sangh’ was established under the chairmanship of Dr. Syamaprasad Mukherjee.
The election symbol of this party was ‘Deepak’.
Pt. Deendayal was the President of ‘Bharatiya Jana Sangh’ from 1967–68.
It was Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay who gave the alleged ideology of BJP “Integral Humanism” in 1965.
He was assassinated on the night of 11 February 1968 at Mughalsarai station.
In the year 2018, ‘Mughalsarai Junction’ was renamed as ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’ Junction.

He won this title after defeating Babar Masih of Pakistan in the final.
Recently Pankaj Advani has won the title of Asian Snooker Championship 2021 for the second time in a row.
Pankaj Advani was honored with Arjuna Award in 2004, Rajiv Gandhi Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in 2006.

PM Modi will launch the Prime Minister’s Digital Health Mission
On September 27, 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will announce the nationwide roll-out of the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM).
Its name has been changed to Pradhan Mantri Digital Health Mission (PM-DHM).
Under this digital health ID will be provided to the people which will contain the health record of the person.
The Pradhan Mantri Digital Health Mission (PM-DHM) is currently running as a pilot project in the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Ladakh, Lakshadweep and Puducherry.

107-year-old Japan’s twin sisters certified world’s oldest
Recently Japan’s twin sisters Umeno Sumiyama and Koume Kodama have been certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest living twins.
His age is 107 years and 330 days.
Both sisters were born on November 5, 1913.
Prior to this the record was held by famous Japanese twin sisters Kin Narita and Gin Kani (107 years and 175 days).
