Zeta Becomes 14th Indian Unicorn This Year After $ 250 Million Softbank Funding
Modern banking tech company Zeta has secured a $ 250 million fund from Japanese investment company SoftBank Vision Fund II.
With this funding round, Zeta has joined the prestigious Unicorn Club.
According to the company, its valuation is estimated at $ 1.4 billion.
Zeta becomes the 14th startup to cross a $ 1 billion valuation in 2021.
The term “unicorn” was first developed in 2013 by Ellen Lee, a world-renowned venture capitalist.
Unicorn is a privately held start up company valued at over a billion dollars.

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Ropar, Punjab and Monash University and Australia have developed a unique detector called ‘FakeBuster’.
Who can identify fraudsters who participate in virtual conferences without anyone’s knowledge.
And can detect any online fraud.
IIT Ropar was established in the year 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (current Ministry of Education).
1971 Indo-Pak war hero Colonel Punjab Singh passed away
Colonel Punjab Singh, the hero of the Battle of Poonch, passed away during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.
The Battle of Poonch is considered one of the most important battles of 1971.
Colonel Punjab Singh was commissioned in 1967 in the Sixth Battalion of the Sikh Regiment.
He commanded this battalion from 12 October 1986 to 29 July 1990.

HDFC Bank set up mobile ATM in Bangalore
The country’s private bank, HDFC Bank, has set up an automated teller machine (mobile ATM) to facilitate its customers among the Bangalore covid-19 restrictions.
Bengaluru is the 25th city where the bank has installed a mobile ATM machine this year.
Mobile ATMs will remain at each location for a fixed time.
