The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NGO Pratham, Dr. Rukmini Banerjee has been honored with the biggest award in the field of education ‘Yidan Award 2021’.
Dr. Rukmini from Bihar has been given this award for her efforts to improve learning habits among rural children.
Rukmini Banerjee is the first recipient of the Maulan Abul Kalam Award in the year 2008.
Apart from him, this award has also been given to Professor Eric A Hanushek of Stanford University, USA for research in education.

He cycled 472 km from Leh to Manali in 34 hours 32 minutes.
Shripad Shriram has broken the record set by Lt Col Bharat Pannu in October 2020.
Bharat Pannu covered this distance in 35 hours 32 minutes.

Ali Sethi of America has given his voice and music to this audiobook.
Amitav Ghosh was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1989 for his novel “The Shadow Lines”.
He was also honored with the Gyanpeeth Award in the year 2018.
Amitav Ghosh is the first English writer to be honored with this award.
