किरण बेदी को पुडुचेरी के उपराज्यपाल पद से हटाया गया
किरण बेदी को 16 फरवरी 2021 को पुडुचेरी के उपराज्यपाल पद से हटा दिया गया है. उनकी जगह तेलंगाना के राज्यपाल तमिलसाई सुंदरराजन को अतिरिक्त प्रभार दिया गया है. किरण बेदी को 29 मई 2016 को उपराज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया था.
प्रशासनिक अड़चनों को लेकर पुडुचेरी के मुख्यमंत्री वी नारायणसामी और किरण बेदी के बीच काफी लंबे समय से विवाद चल रहा था. राष्ट्रपति का आदेश राजनीतिक संकट के बीच आया है जहां सत्तारूढ़ काग्रेस सरकार एक और विधायक के पार्टी छोड़ने के बाद अल्पमत में आ गयी.

पूर्व भारतीय राजनयिक अजय मल्होत्रा को मानवाधिकार परिषद की सलाहकार समिति का चेयरपर्सन चुना गया है. वह इस पद पर चुने जाने वाले पहले भारतीय हैं. मल्होत्रा भारतीय विदेश सेवा के अधिकारी रहे हैं. अपने सेवा काल के दौरान कई अहम पदों पर काम किया.
मल्होत्रा ने दिल्ली स्कूल ऑफ इकनॉमिक्स से अर्थशास्त्र से एमए किया था. वह रूस में भारत के उ्च्चायुक्त रह चुके हैं. वह केन्या के नेरौबी भारतीय उच्चायोग में भी सेवा दे चुके हैं. 30 नवंबर 2013 को वह भारतीय विदेश सेवा से रिटायर हुए थे.
Former Indian diplomat Ajay Malhotra has been elected the chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the Human Rights Council. He is the first Indian to be elected to this post. Malhotra has been an officer of the Indian Foreign Service. During his service period, he held many important positions.
Malhotra did his MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics. He has been the High Commissioner of India to Russia. He has also served at the Nerobi Indian High Commission in Kenya. On 30 November 2013, he retired from the Indian Foreign Service.
ममता बनर्जी ने शुरू की ‘मां की रसोई’ योजना
पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने गरीबों के लिए पांच रुपये में भोजन मुहैया कराने की योजना शुरू की। गरीबों को भरपेट भोजन मुहैय्या कराने के लिए ममता बनर्जी ने बंगाल में डिजिटल तरीके से 'मां की रसोई' योजना का उद्घाटन किया।
इसके तहत राज्य सरकार निर्धनों को पांच रुपये के किफायती मूल्य पर भोजन मुहैया कराएगी। इस योजना के तहत पांच रुपये में लोगों को थाली में चावल, दाल, एक सब्जी और अंडा करी मिलेगी।

पुदुचेरी को 28 फरवरी तक कोविड-मुक्त बनने के लिए अभियान शुरू
पुडुचेरी में, केंद्र शासित प्रदेश में फरवरी 2021 के अंत तक कोई भी कोविड-19 मामले नहीं हैं, यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए “फरवरी 28 तक शून्य कोविड” नामक एक अभियान शुरू किया गया है. पुडुचेरी में समग्र केसलोड 39,448 था जबकि अब तक 258 सक्रिय मामलों को छोड़कर 38,533 ठीक हुए.

Indian team wicket-keeper batsman Naman Ojha announced his retirement on 15 February 2021. Naman Ojha holds the record for most hunting behind the wicket during the Ranji Trophy in domestic cricket. This wicket-keeper batsman made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in the year 2010. He has played one Test, one ODI and two T20 matches for Team India. He played in the IPL for Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने किया ई-छावनी पोर्टल का शुभारंभ
केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने 16 फरवरी, 2021 को ई-छावनी पोर्टल का शुभारंभ किया.
‘आसानी से जीवन यापन’ (‘इज़ ऑफ़ लिविंग’) करने के मंत्र के साथ, सरकार ने देश भर में 62 छावनी बोर्डों में रहने वाले 20 लाख से अधिक नागरिकों को जरुरी सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए यह पोर्टल पेश किया है. यह पोर्टल एक बहु-किरायेदारी केंद्रीय मंच के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन नगरपालिका सेवाएं प्रदान करेगा.
• छावनी के निवासी नागरिक समस्याओं के बारे में अपनी शिकायतें दर्ज कर सकेंगे और घर बैठे ही उन समस्याओं का समाधान भी कर सकेंगे.
• इस पोर्टल के माध्यम से, लोगों को नगरपालिका सेवाएं आसानी से प्रदान की जाएंगी. वे पोर्टल के माध्यम से अपने दस्तावेज जैसे सीवरेज कनेक्टिविटी एप्लिकेशन और ट्रेड लाइसेंस प्राप्त कर सकेंगे.
• यह ई-छावनी पोर्टल पूरे देश में छावनी क्षेत्र के निवासियों को नागरिक केंद्रित सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए स्मार्ट गवर्नेंस की दिशा में एक और कदम साबित होगा.
छावनी बोर्ड
छावनी बोर्ड एक नागरिक प्रशासन निकाय है। यह भारत में रक्षा मंत्रालय के अधीन कार्य करता है। बोर्ड में निर्वाचित सदस्यों, पदेन सदस्यों और छावनी अधिनियम, 2006 के अनुसार नामित सदस्यों को शामिल किया जाता है। बोर्ड के सदस्य का चुनाव पाँच वर्षों के लिए किया जाता है। बोर्ड में आठ निर्वाचित सदस्य और तीन नामित सैन्य सदस्य शामिल हैं। इसमें जिलाधिकारी के एक प्रतिनिधि के अलावा तीन पदेन सदस्य, गैरीसन इंजीनियर, स्टेशन कमांडर और वरिष्ठ कार्यकारी चिकित्सा अधिकारी शामिल हैं।
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh launched the e-cantonment portal on February 16, 2021.
With the mantra of 'Ease of Living' ('Ease of Living'), the government has introduced this portal to provide essential services to over 2 million citizens residing in 62 Cantonment Boards across the country. The portal will provide online municipal services through a multi-tenancy central platform.
• Residents of the cantonment will be able to register their complaints about the problems and can also resolve those problems right from home.
• Through this portal, municipal services will be provided to the people easily. They will be able to get their documents like sewerage connectivity application and trade license through the portal.
• This e-Cantonment portal will prove to be another step in the direction of smart governance to provide citizen centric services to the residents of the cantonment area across the country.
Cantonment Board
The Cantonment Board is a civil administration body. It functions under the Ministry of Defense in India. The Board consists of elected members, ex-officio members and nominated members as per Cantonment Act, 2006. The board member is elected for five years. The board consists of eight elected members and three nominated military members. This includes three ex-officio members, garrison engineers, station commanders and senior executive medical officers, besides a representative of the Collector.

केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने 15 फरवरी, 2021 को नई दिल्ली में गणतंत्र दिवस परेड 2021 में सर्वश्रेष्ठ मार्च करने वाली टुकड़ी की ट्रॉफी प्रदान की. जाट रेजिमेंटल सेंटर ने त्रि-सेवाओं के बीच सर्वश्रेष्ठ मार्चिंग टुकड़ी की ट्रॉफी प्राप्त की, जबकि केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों (CAPF) और अन्य सहायक सेवाओं में से दिल्ली पुलिस ने सर्वश्रेष्ठ मार्चिंग टुकड़ी की ट्रॉफी प्राप्त की.
जाट रेजिमेंटल सेंटर की ओर से ब्रिगेडियर आदर्श के बुटेल और सूबेदार मेजर (मानद कैप्टन) वीरेंद्र ने ट्रॉफी प्राप्त की और दिल्ली पुलिस की ओर से विशेष पुलिस आयुक्त रॉबिन हिबू और सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त विवेक भगत ने ट्रॉफी प्राप्त की. जजों के दो पैनल द्वारा मूल्यांकन के आधार पर दो प्रतियोगियों को नियुक्त किया गया था.

The Jat Regimental Center received the trophy for the best marching contingent among the tri-services, while the Delhi Police from the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and other auxiliary services received the trophy for the best marching contingent.
Brigadier Adarsh Butel and Subedar Major (Honorary Captain) Virendra received the trophy from the Jat Regimental Center and Special Police Commissioner Robin Hibu and Assistant Commissioner of Police Vivek Bhagat received the trophy from Delhi Police. Two contestants were appointed on the basis of evaluation by two panel of judges.
26वें हुनर हाट का आयोजन 20 फरवरी से
अल्पसंख्यक मामलों का मंत्रालय 20 फरवरी से एक मार्च तक नई दिल्ली के जवाहर लाल नेहरू स्टेडियम में 26वें हुनर हाट का आयोजन करने जा रहा है। इसमें देश के 31 राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों के छह सौ से अधिक कारीगर और शिल्पकार भाग लेंगे। इनमें बडी संख्या में महिला शिल्पकार भी शामिल होंगी। इस बार के हुनर हाट का मुख्य विषय 'वोकल फोर लोकल' होगा।

किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब ने अपना नाम बदल लिया है और इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (IPL) के अगले सत्र में यह पंजाब किंग्स टीम कहलाएगी.
किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब आईपीएल की उन आठ टीमों में से है जिसने यूएई में पिछला सत्र खेला था. इस महीने होने वाली आईपीएल की नीलामी से पहले ऑलराउंडर ग्लेन मैक्सवेल को टीम ने रिलीज करने का फैसला लिया. वर्तमान में टीम के कप्तान लोकेश राहुल हैं.

Kings XI Punjab is among the eight IPL teams that played in the UAE last season. The team decided to release all-rounder Glenn Maxwell before the IPL auction this month. Currently, the captain of the team is Lokesh Rahul.
