संस्कृति मंत्रालय ने घोषणा की कि नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस की जयंती, 23 जनवरी को प्रतिवर्ष 'पराक्रम दिवस' के रूप में मनाई जाएगी. यह दिन नेताजी की अदम्य भावना और राष्ट्र के प्रति निस्वार्थ सेवा के सम्मान और अभिवादन के लिए मनाया जाता है. इस महीने की शुरुआत में, नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस की 125वीं जयंती को भव्य रूप से मनाने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में संस्कृति मंत्रालय ने एक उच्च स्तरीय समिति का गठन किया गया है.
The Ministry of Culture announced that the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will be celebrated on 23 January every year as 'Parakram Divas'. This day is celebrated to honor and greet Netaji's indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation. Earlier this month, a high level committee has been set up by the Ministry of Culture under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
परेड में शामिल होने वाली पहली महिला फाइटर पायलट बनेंगी भावना कांत
भारतीय वायु सेना की महिला फाइटर पायलट भावना कांत 26 जनवरी 2021 को इतिहास रचने जा रही हैं. भावना गणतंत्र दिवस परेड (Republic Day 2021) में शामिल होने वाली पहली महिला फाइटर पायलट बनेंगी. वे परेड में भारतीय वायुसेना (IAF) की झांकी का हिस्सा होंगी.
इसमें हल्के लड़ाकू विमान, हल्के लड़ाकू हेलीकॉप्टर और सुखोई 30 फाइटर प्लेन शामिल होंगे. इस बार गणतंत्र दिवस पर इंडियन एयरफोर्स का ब्रह्मास्त्र राफेल पहली बार गर्जन कर अपनी ताकत दिखाएगा.
भावना बिहार के दरभंगा जिले के घनश्यामपुर प्रखंड के बाऊर गांव की रहने वाली हैं.
भावना की एक और उपलब्धि यह भी है कि वो युद्ध मिशन में दिन के वक्त फाइटर जेट उड़ाने की योग्यता हासिल करने वाली वायुसेना की पहली महिला फाइटर पायलट हैं. ये योग्यता उन्होंने मई 2019 में हासिल की थी.
साल 2020 में अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के मौके पर राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने इंडियन एयरफोर्स की पहली महिला पायलट्स में शामिल भावना कांत को को नारी शक्ति पुरस्कार दिया था.

On the occasion of International Women's Day in the year 2020, President Ram Nath Kovind gave the Nari Shakti Award to Bhavna Kant, one of the first women pilots of the Indian Air Force.

विश्व श्रमिक आंदोलन के इतिहास को दर्शाने वाला देश का पहला श्रमिक आंदोलन संग्रहालय केरल के अलाप्पुझा में शुरू किया जाएगा। 'लेबर मूवमेंट म्युजियम' इस वर्ग के संघर्ष और श्रमिकों के संघर्ष को प्रदर्शित करने वाला ऐसा पहला प्रयास होगा। यह पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करने की एक व्यापक परियोजना का भी हिस्सा होगा। संग्रहालय को एलडीएफ सरकार के दूसरे 100-दिवसीय कार्यक्रम के हिस्से के तौर पर शुरू किया जाएगा।

The country's first labor movement museum showing the history of the world labor movement will be started in Alappuzha, Kerala. The 'Labor Movement Museum' will be the first such effort to demonstrate the struggle of this class and the struggle of the workers. It will also be part of a wider project to attract tourists. आज से शुरू होगा भारत-फ्रांस का युद्धाभ्यास X Desert Night- 21
देश के महत्वपूर्ण जोधपुर एयरबेस पर 20 जनवरी से भारत-फ्रांस की एयरफोर्स का संयुक्त युद्धाभ्यास डेजर्ट नाइट-21 शुरू होने जा रहा है। यह युद्धाभ्यास पांच दिनों तक चलेगा। 24 जनवरी तक चलने वाले युद्धाभ्यास के लिए जोधपुर एयरबेस तैयार है। फ्रांस के फाइटर्स विमान के साथ 175 वायुसैनिक इस युद्धाभ्यास में शामिल होंगे।
Desert Knight-21, the joint exercise of Indo-French air force is going to start from January 20 at the country's important Jodhpur airbase. This exercise will last for five days. The Jodhpur airbase is ready for the maneuvers lasting till 24 January. As many as 175 airmen will be involved in this exercise along with French fighters aircraft.

पाकिस्तान ने दुबई शासक शेख मोहम्मद बिन राशिद अल-मकतूम, द क्राउन प्रिंस, और शाही परिवार के 5 सदस्यों को 2020-21 के शिकार सत्र के दौरान तिलोर (हूबारा बस्टर्ड) के शिकार को विशेष अनुमति जारी की है. अनुमति के बाद, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के शाही परिवार के 11 सदस्य पाकिस्तान के विदेश मंत्रालय के लाइसेंस के तहत अत्यधिक असुरक्षित और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर संरक्षित तिलोर (हूबारा बस्टर्ड) का शिकार करने के लिए पाकिस्तान के बलूचिस्तान के पंजगुर जिले में पहुंचे.

Pakistan has issued special permission to Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, The Crown Prince, and 5 members of the royal family to hunt Tilor (Hubara Bastard) during the 2020–21 hunting season. After permission, 11 members of the UAE royal family arrived in Panjgur district of Baluchistan, Pakistan to hunt the highly vulnerable and internationally protected Tilor (Hubara bustard) under license from Pakistan's Foreign Ministry.
Tilor (Hubara bustard) is a terrestrial bird that is found in parts of Middle East, Asia and Africa. The Asiatic Hubara (Chlamydotis McQueen) and the North African Hubara (Chlamydotis undulata) are distinct species. After breeding in Central Asia during spring, Tilor (Hubara bustard) migrates south to spend winter in Pakistan.
ओपन स्काई संधि से अलग हुआ रूस
अमेरिका के ‘ओपन स्काई संधि’ (OST) से अलग होने की घोषणा के बाद रूस ने भी इस संधि से वापसी की घोषणा की है।
रूस के अनुसार, यह संधि सदस्य देशों की सीमाओं में सैन्य गतिविधियों की जाँच के लिये गैर-हथियार वाले निगरानी विमानों की उड़ान की अनुमति देती है और इस संधि से अमेरिका की वापसी के कारण रूस के सामरिक हितों पर गंभीर खतरा उत्पन्न हो गया है। बीते वर्ष नवंबर माह में अमेरिका ने यह कहते हुए ‘ओपन स्काई संधि’ (OST) से स्वयं को अलग कर लिया था कि रूस द्वारा इस संधि का स्पष्ट तौर पर उल्लंघन किया जा रहा है।
ओपन स्काइज संधि: सोवियत संघ के विघटन के बाद 1992 में ओपन स्काइज संधि पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे। यह पहली बार 1955 में पूर्व अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति ड्वाइट आइजनहावर द्वारा शीत युद्ध के तनाव को कम करने के लिए प्रस्तावित की गयी थी। नाटो के सदस्यों और पूर्व वारसा संधि देशों के बीच इस संधि पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे। 2002 में, 35 से अधिक देशों ने इस संधि पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे। इसमें अमेरिका और रूस भी शामिल थे। भारत, ओपन स्काइज संधि का हस्ताक्षरकर्ता नहीं है।
Russia has also announced withdrawal from the treaty after the US announced its withdrawal from the 'Open Sky Treaty' (OST).
According to Russia, the treaty allows the flight of non-weaponized surveillance aircraft to check military activities across member states' borders and the withdrawal of the US from the treaty poses a serious threat to Russia's strategic interests. In November last year, the US disassociated itself from the 'Open Sky Treaty' (OST), saying that the treaty was being clearly violated by Russia.
Open Skies Treaty: The Open Skies Treaty was signed in 1992 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. It was first proposed in 1955 by former US President Dwight Eisenhower to ease Cold War tensions. The treaty was signed between NATO members and former Warsaw Pact countries. In 2002, more than 35 countries signed the treaty. It also included the US and Russia. India is not a signatory to the Open Skies Treaty.

गुजरात सरकार ने ड्रैगन फ्रूट का नाम बदलकर किया ‘कमलम’
गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री विजय रूपाणी ने ड्रैगन फ्रूट का नाम बदलकर कमलम करने का फैसला लिया है ऐसा इसलिए क्योंकि ये फल बाहर से कमल जैसा दिखता है।
इसके अलावा विजय रूपाणी ने कहा कि ड्रैगन शब्द सुनने में अच्छा नहीं लगता और लोग इसे चीन से जोड़ते हैं। इसलिए इसका नाम बदलने का फैसला किया गया है। संस्कृत में कमलम का अर्थ है कमल।
ड्रैगन फ्रूट को सुपर फ्रूट माना जाता है और यह देखने में काफी आकर्षक लगता है. मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस समय बाजार में उपलब्ध यह सबसे महंगा फल है. कैक्टस प्रजाति के पौधों में यह फल उगता है और शरीर की रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बेहतर करने के लिए लोग इसे खाते हैं.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to change the name of Dragon Fruit to Kamalam because this fruit looks like a lotus from outside.
Apart from this, Vijay Rupani said that the word dragon does not sound good and people associate it with China. Therefore it has been decided to change its name. Kamalam in Sanskrit means lotus.
Dragon fruit is considered super fruit and it looks very attractive. The Chief Minister said that this is the most expensive fruit available in the market at this time. This fruit grows in the plants of cactus species and people eat it to improve the body's immunity.

The Board of Directors of RBL Bank has approved the reappointment of Vishwaveer Ahuja as Managing Director and CEO of the bank for three years.
