पराक्रम दिवस : 23 जनवरी
नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस की 125 वीं जयंती, 23 जनवरी 2021 को पराक्रम दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। यह दिन नेताजी की अदम्य भावना और राष्ट्र के प्रति निस्वार्थ सेवा के सम्मान और उन्हें याद करने के लिए दिन मनाया जाता है।
नेताजी का जन्म 23 जनवरी 1897 को ओडिशा के कटक में हुआ था। उन्होंने कोलकाता से स्नातक की उपाधि प्राप्त की और भारतीय सिविल सेवा (ICS) अधिकारी बनकर अपनी क्षमता साबित की। लेकिन उन्होंने उनकी नौकरी के साथ आए आराम और सुख-सुविधाओं को छोड़ दिया, और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम का हिस्सा बनने का फैसला किया।
"मुझे खून दो और मैं तुम्हें आजादी दूंगा" के नारे के साथ, उन्होंने देश को अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ लड़ने के लिए जागरूक किया.
नेताजी ने “दिल्ली चलो” का नारा देते हुए आज़ाद हिंद फ़ौज (भारतीय राष्ट्रीय सेना) के नामक एक सेना का निर्माण किया। उनकी 60,000-मजबूत सेना के हजारों सैनिकों ने देश के लिए अपना बलिदान दिया।
The 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is celebrated on 23 January 2021 as Parakram Divas. This day is celebrated to honor and remember Netaji's indomitable spirit and selfless service to the nation.
Netaji was born on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack, Odisha. He graduated from Kolkata and proved his ability by becoming an Indian Civil Service (ICS) officer. But he gave up the comforts and comforts that came with his job, and decided to be a part of the freedom struggle.
With the slogan "Give me blood and I will give you freedom", he awakened the country to fight against the British.
Netaji created an army called Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army), giving the slogan of "Delhi Chalo". Thousands of soldiers of his 60,000-strong army sacrificed their lives for the country.

प्रसिद्ध भजन गायक नरेंद्र चंचल का 22 जनवरी 2021 को दिल्ली में निधन हो गया. वे 80 साल के थे. नरेंद्र चंचल जागरण में माता की भेंटें गाते थे और वह बॉलीवुड में भी अपनी गायकी से फैन्स का दिल जीत चुके थे.
ऋषि कपूर-डिंपल कपाड़िया की फिल्म बॉबी के लिए एक गाना गाया था. ये बॉलीवुड गाना बेशक मंदिर मस्जिद… गाया था. इसके लिए नरेंद्र चंचल को फिल्मफेयर बेस्ट मेल प्लेबैक अवॉर्ड मिला था.
Renowned Bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal passed away on 22 January 2021 in Delhi. He was 80 years old. Narendra Chanchal used to sing mother's gifts in Jagran and he had won the hearts of fans in Bollywood too.
Sung a song for Rishi Kapoor-Dimple Kapadia's film Bobby. This Bollywood song was undoubtedly sung by Mandir Masjid…. For this, Narendra Chanchal received the Filmfare Best Male Playback Award.
ओडिशा में तोशाली राष्ट्रीय शिल्प मेले का उद्घाटन किया गया
ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने 21 जनवरी को भुवनेश्वर में वार्षिक तोशाली राष्ट्रीय शिल्प मेला का उद्घाटन किया। इस शिल्प मेले का उद्घाटन वर्चुअली किया गया।
तोशाली राष्ट्रीय शिल्प मेले में आने वाले सभी आगंतुकों को कोविड-19 मानदंडों का पालन करने की सलाह दी गई है। तोशाली शिल्प मेला पूर्वी भारत में सबसे लोकप्रिय हथकरघा और हस्तशिल्प मेलों में से है। इस इवेंट में तीन कारीगरों को राज्य हस्तशिल्प पुरस्कार 2019 प्रदान किया गया। यह तीन विजेता हैं- दिलीप कुमार स्वैन (ताड़ का पत्ता उत्कीर्णन), दिव्यज्योति बेहरा (पत्थर शिल्प), और प्रियंका पात्रा (टेराकोटा)। यह पुरस्कार हथकरघा, कपड़ा और हस्तशिल्प की राज्य मंत्री पद्मिनी दियान द्वारा दिया गया।
इस इवेंट के लिए जनता मैदान स्थल पर कुल 250 स्टॉल लगाए गए हैं, जिसमें देश भर से सर्वश्रेष्ठ हथकरघा और हस्तशिल्प प्रदर्शित किए गए हैं। इनमे से 170 स्टाल ओडिशा वस्त्र और शिल्प का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं और 80 स्टॉल अन्य राज्यों के हैं।
तोशाली राष्ट्रीय शिल्प मेला 4 फरवरी तक (दैनिक दोपहर 2 बजे से 9 बजे तक) आम लोगों के लिए खुला है।
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the annual Toshali National Crafts Mela in Bhubaneswar on 21 January. This craft fair was inaugurated virtually.
All visitors to the Toshali National Crafts Fair have been advised to follow the Kovid-19 norms. Toshali Crafts Mela is one of the most popular handloom and handicraft fairs in Eastern India. In this event, three artisans were awarded the State Handicraft Award 2019. It has three winners – Dilip Kumar Swain (palm leaf engraving), Divyajyoti Behera (stone craft), and Priyanka Patra (terracotta). The award was given by Padmini Dian, Minister of State for Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts.
A total of 250 stalls have been set up at the Janata Maidan site for this event, showcasing the best handlooms and handicrafts from across the country. Of these, 170 stalls represent Odisha textiles and crafts and 80 stalls are from other states.
Toshali National Crafts Mela is open to the public till 4 February (daily from 2 pm to 9 pm).
संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास “कवच”
भारतीय सेना अंडमान सागर और बंगाल की खाड़ी में बड़े पैमाने पर संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास कवच आयोजित करने जा रही है. यह अभ्यास अंडमान और निकोबार कमान के तत्वावधान में होना है. संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास कवच में भारतीय नौसेना, भारतीय थल सेना, भारतीय वायु सेना और भारतीय तट रक्षक शामिल होंगे. यह अभ्यास भारत की तीनों सेनाओं की संयुक्त युद्ध क्षमताओं को बेहतर करने के लिए है.
The Indian Army is going to conduct a large-scale joint military exercise in the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal. This practice is to be done under the auspices of the Andaman and Nicobar Command. The joint military exercise armor will include the Indian Navy, the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Indian Coast Guard. This exercise is to improve the combined combat capabilities of the three armies of India.
कर्नाटक के सीएम येदियुरप्पा ने Avalokana सॉफ्टवेयर लॉन्च किया

Chief Minister of Karnataka, BS Yeddyurappa has recently launched Avalokana software. The software will enable the state government to use data on expenditure and approvals made on 1,800 programs.
The software focuses on Sustainable Development Goals, Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan, Tribal Sub-Plan and Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
It is a transparent e-governance tool that will provide assembly-wise release of government grants and allocations for various government programs.
This will help the government in deciding to release funds based on the expenditure incurred by the department.
This will eventually increase the government's hold on resources. The software provides a focused approach on Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan, Sustainable Development Goals and Tribal Sub-Plan and Centrally Sponsored Scheme.

Axis Bank, the country's largest private bank, has launched a new credit card, in which customers will get many health and wellness benefits at an affordable price. The name of the card is 'AURA'. Cardholders will get a discount on the annual health checkup through IndusHealth Plus. With Practo, four free online consultations will be available on the card every month for free.
This credit card will have 24 × 7 access to doctors, which is not limited to general physiology only. It includes general such as cardiology to alternative Ayurveda, homeopathy. Apart from this, four free online interactive fitness sessions will be available in the card.

भारतीय गणितज्ञ निखिल श्रीवास्तव को प्रतिष्ठित 2021 माइकल और शीला हेल्ड पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया है। इस पुरस्कार के लिए दो अन्य लोगों को भी चुना गया है।
इस पुरस्कार अन्य दो विजेता हैं- येल यूनिवर्सिटी के डैनियल, एलन स्पिलमैन और इकोल पॉलीटेक्निक फेडरेल डी लुसाने। इन तीनों को रामानुजन रेखांकन (Ramanujan Graphs) और कैडिसन-सिंगर प्रॉब्लम (Kadison-Singer Problem) पर लंबे समय तक सवाल हल करने के लिए विजेताओं के रूप में नामित किया गया है। इन सवालों को हल करते हुए, उन तीनों ने रैखिक बीजगणित, ग्राफ सिद्धांत और बहुपद की ज्यामिति के बीच एक नए संबंध को उजागर किया।

Indian mathematician Nikhil Srivastava has been honored with the prestigious 2021 Michael and Sheila Held Award. Two other people have also been selected for this award.
The other two winners of this award are Daniel, Alan Spillman of Yale University, and Federal de Lausanne, Ecol Polytechnique. All three have been named as winners for long-term questions on the Ramanujan Graphs and the Kadison-Singer Problem. Solving these questions, the three of them uncovered a new relationship between linear algebra, graph theory, and the geometry of polynomials.
He published a solution to a decade-long problem called the Kadison-Singer Problem. The winners were announced by the National Academy of Sciences.
Currently, Nikhil Srivastava is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of California.
Michael and Sheila Held Award: It is an annual award that honors innovative, outstanding, influential and creative research in discrete and combustible optimization or related parts of computer science such as the design and analysis of complexity and algorithms. The award was instituted in 2017.
अर्जुन मुंडा ने श्रम शक्ति पोर्टल को लांच किया
जनजातीय मामलों के मंत्री अर्जुन मुंडा ने हाल ही में एक राष्ट्रीय प्रवासन सहायता पोर्टल- “श्रमशक्ति” को लांच किया है। यह पोर्टल वर्चुअली गोवा के पंजिम में लॉन्च किया गया था।
श्रमशक्ति पोर्टल प्रवासी श्रमिकों के लिए राष्ट्रीय और राज्य-स्तरीय कार्यक्रमों को आसान बनाने में मदद करेगा। इस इवेंट के दौरान एक आदिवासी प्रवासन कक्ष “श्रम साथी” और गोवा में एक आदिवासी संग्रहालय का भी शुभारंभ किया गया।
श्रमसाथी प्रवासी श्रमिकों के लिए एक प्रशिक्षण पुस्तिका है। गोवा में समर्पित प्रवासन सेल विभिन्न राज्यों से गोवा आने वाले प्रवासी श्रमिकों का समर्थन करेगा। प्रवासन सेल का शुभारंभ गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री प्रमोद सावंत द्वारा किया गया था।
यह पोर्टल और माइग्रेशन सेल राज्य सरकार को प्रवासी श्रमिकों से संबंधित वास्तविक समय के आंकड़ों पर नज़र रखने में मदद करेगा। यह प्रवासी कल्याण योजना के तहत प्रवासी आबादी को जोड़ने के लिए सरकार की मदद भी करेगा।

Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda has recently launched a National Migration Assistance Portal- "Shram Shakti". The portal was launched in virtual Panjim in Goa.
The Shram Shakti portal will help in easing national and state-level programs for migrant workers. During this event, a tribal migration room "Shram Saathi" and a tribal museum in Goa were also launched.
Shramasathi is a training manual for migrant workers. The dedicated migration cell in Goa will support migrant workers coming to Goa from various states. Migration Cell was launched by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.
This portal and migration cell will help the state government to track real-time data related to migrant workers. It will also help the government to connect the migrant population under the migrant welfare scheme.
The data that will be recorded through the labor force will include livelihood options, demographic profiles, migration patterns, and skill mapping.
Labor partners will make migrant workers aware of their rights and also educate them on how to use services and social security schemes. This will also make the process of livelihood migration productive and safe.

विश्व आर्थिक मंच ने हाल ही में वैश्विक जोखिम रिपोर्ट, 2021 के सोलहवें संस्करण का विमोचन किया। यह रिपोर्ट विश्व आर्थिक मंच के 650 से अधिक सदस्यों द्वारा किए गए वैश्विक जोखिम धारणा सर्वेक्षण के आधार पर जारी की गई थी। रिपोर्ट एसके ग्रुप और ज्यूरिख इंश्योरेंस ग्रुप के साथ साझेदारी में स्ट्रेटेजिक पार्टनर्स, मार्श मैक्लेनन के साथ तैयार की गई है.
i. सर्वेक्षण के उत्तरदाताओं ने लाइकलीहुड और इम्पैक्ट के आधार पर व्यक्तिगत वैश्विक जोखिमों का भी आकलन किया
1. लाइकलीहुड द्वारा शीर्ष 3 जोखिम (अगले 10 वर्षों में होने की संभावना) कठोर मौसम, जलवायु कार्रवाई विफलता और मानव पर्यावरण क्षति है.

The World Economic Forum recently released the sixteenth edition of the Global Risk Report, 2021. The report was released on the basis of a global risk perception survey conducted by more than 650 members of the World Economic Forum. The report has been prepared in partnership with SK Group and Zurich Insurance Group with Strategic Partners, Marsha McLennan.
i. Survey respondents also assessed individual global risks based on Likelihood and Impact
1. The top 3 risks (likely to occur in the next 10 years) by Likehood are harsh weather, climate action failure and human environment damage.
2. The top 3 risks (expected to increase the amount of impact) by impact are infectious diseases, climate action failure and weapons of mass destruction.
ii. Extensive effect:
1. COVID-19 has brought a big change in the 2021 ranking compared to the 2020 Global Risk Report ranking.
2. In 2020, infectious diseases were ranked 10th in the list of most serious threats.
3. COVID-19 has caused both widespread loss of life and delayed economic growth in the poorest parts of the world, leading to an increase in property inequalities worldwide.
iii. Climate concerns:
1. Even though there has been a decline in carbon emissions due to the lockdown and its ban, but as soon as life and economy return to track after the corona, then carbon emissions will start increasing once again.
iv. Procedure for Counter Risks:
1. The report has asked the global communities to take lessons from the responses on COVID-19 to promote global resilience in future.
2. It involves creating an analytical framework, creating new forms of partnership and building trust through clear and consistent communication.

भारतीय रेलवे की सबसे लंबी मालगाड़ी ‘वासुकी’ ने रिकॉर्ड बनाया
भारतीय रेलवे के दक्षिण पूर्व मध्य रेलवे (SECR) ज़ोन ने हाल ही में भारतीय रेलवे नेटवर्क पर सबसे लंबी मालगाड़ी का संचालन करके एक नया रिकॉर्ड बनाया है।
भारतीय रेलवे के SECR रायपुर डिवीजन ने पहली बार 5 मालगाड़ियों को जोड़कर चलाया गया। पांच मालगाड़ियों को जोड़ने से मालगाड़ी की कुल लंबाई लगभग 3.5 किलोमीटर हो गई। इस ट्रेन का नाम ‘वासुकी’ रखा गया था।
भिलाई डी केबिन से कोरबा के बीच की दूरी 224 किमी है और वासुकी ने पांच रेक के साथ इस दूरी को कवर किया। ट्रेन को इस दूरी को तय करने में लगभग 7 घंटे का समय लगा।
वासुकी को एक लोको पायलट, एक गार्ड और एक सहायक लोको पायलट की मदद से संचालित किया गया था।
दक्षिण पूर्व मध्य रेलवे (SECR) ज़ोन ने हाल ही में दो मालगाड़ियों का भी संचालन किया है। इन मालगाड़ियों ने अपनी लंबाई के कारण ध्यान आकर्षित किया। यह दो मालगाड़ियाँ ‘शेष नाग’ और ‘सुपर एनाकोंडा’ थीं। सुपर एनाकोंडा एक पूरी तरह से भरी हुई तीन रेक की संयुक्त मालगाड़ी थी। ‘शेष नाग’ 2.8 किमी लंबी मालगाड़ी थी।
The South East Central Railway (SECR) zone of the Indian Railways recently set a new record by operating the longest freight train on the Indian railway network.
SECR Raipur Division of Indian Railways was run for the first time by adding 5 freight trains. Adding five freight trains increased the total length of the goods train to about 3.5 km. This train was named 'Vasuki'.
The distance between Bhilai de Cabin to Korba is 224 km and Vasuki covered this distance with five rakes. The train took about 7 hours to cover this distance.
Vasuki was operated with the help of a loco pilot, a guard and an assistant loco pilot.
The South East Central Railway (SECR) zone has also recently operated two freight trains. These freight trains gained attention due to their length. These two goods trains were 'Shesh Nag' and 'Super Anaconda'. The Super Anaconda was a fully loaded three rake combined cargo train. Shesh Nag was a 2.8 km long freight train.

उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री, त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत, उत्तराखंड के देहरादून में पहले बाल-सुलभ पुलिस स्टेशन का उद्घाटन करेंगे, जिसका उद्देश्य अपराधों से जुड़े बच्चों को एक अनुकूल वातावरण प्रदान करना है. उत्तराखंड की बाल संरक्षण समिति की सिफारिश पर लगभग 5 लाख रुपये के बजट के साथ डालनवाला पुलिस स्टेशन में बाल-सुलभ पुलिस इकाई की स्थापना की गई है.
स्टेट कमीशन फॉर प्रोटेक्शन ऑफ चाइल्ड राइट्स (SCPCR) की चेयरपर्सन उषा नेगी के अनुसार, जो बच्चे या तो पीड़ित हैं या उन्हें उचित काउंसलिंग की जरूरत है या अन्य कारणों से पुलिस स्टेशन आते है, उन्हें एक निष्क्रिय और डरावने माहौल में रखने की तुलना में आरामदायक और निर्भीक वातावरण प्रदान किया जाना चाहिए. बच्चों को सहज रखने के लिए, दीवारों को चमकीले रंगों और कार्टून में चित्रित किया गया है और पुलिस कर्मियों भी अपनी वर्दी के बजाय कैसुअल कपड़े पहनेंगे.
