हर साल 26 जनवरी को विश्व स्तर पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सीमा शुल्क दिवस (International Customs Day) मनाया जाता है। यह दिन कस्टम अधिकारियों और एजेंसियों की भूमिका को पहचानने के लिए मनाया जाता है और उनके काम करने के दौरान सामना आने वाली स्थितियों और चुनौतियों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाता है। इस साल अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सीमा शुल्क दिवस की थीम है: “Customs bolstering Recovery, Renewal and Resilience”.

यूपी अभ्युदय योजना – छात्रो को मिलेगी मुफ्त कोचिंग
उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने यूपी "अभ्युदय" योजना का शुभारंभ किया है जिसके अंतर्गत निशुल्क कोचिंग दी जाएगी। जो भी छात्र प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी करना चाहते हैं उन्हें यूपी सरकार के सहयोग से निशुल्क कोचिंग की सुविधा प्राप्त हो सकेगी जिसके लिए उन्हें आवेदन भरना होगा। इस योजना की घोषणा 24 जनवरी 2021 को यूपी सरकार द्वारा की गई। उत्तर प्रदेश के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ ने आने वाली बसंत पंचमी से इस योजना को प्रारंभ करने की घोषणा की है।

72वें गणतंत्र दिवस से पहले राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद ने 40 लोगों को जीवन रक्षा पदक अवार्ड-2020 प्रदान करने को मंजूरी दे दी. केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी की गई सूची के मुताबिक, एक व्यक्ति को सर्वोत्तम जीवन रक्षा पदक, 8 लोगों को उत्तम जीवन रक्षा पदक और 31 लोगों को जीवन रक्षा पदक दी जाएगी. इनमें से एक अवॉर्ड सर्वोत्तम जीवन रक्षा पदक मरणोपरांत दिया जाएगा. ये पुरस्कार लोगों को साहसिक तरीके से किसी व्यक्ति की जान बचाने के लिए दिया जाता है.
केरल के मोहम्मद मोहसिन को मरणोपरांत सर्वोत्तम जीवन रक्षा पदक 2020 दिया जाएगा.

भारतीय फुटबॉल टीम के पूर्व गोलकीपर प्रशांत डोरा का हाल ही में निधन हो गया. वे 44 साल के थे. उन्होंने साल 1999 में थाईलैंड के खिलाफ पदार्पण किया तथा उन्होंने सैफ कप और सैफ खेलों में भी भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व किया था. उन्हें 1997-98 और 1999 में संतोष ट्रॉफी में सर्वश्रेष्ठ गोलकीपर आंका गया था. उन्होंने टॉलीगंज अग्रगामी की तरफ से अपने करियर की शुरुआत की तथा कलकत्ता पोर्ट ट्रस्ट, मोहम्मडन स्पोर्टिंग, मोहन बागान और ईस्ट बंगाल की तरफ से भी खेले.

He made his debut against Thailand in 1999 and also represented India in the SAF Cup and SAIF Games. He was adjudged the best goalkeeper in the Santosh Trophy in 1997–98 and 1999. He started his career on behalf of Toliganj Agargami and also played for Calcutta Port Trust, Mohammedan Sporting, Mohun Bagan and East Bengal.
2 एक्सप्रेसवे पर हवाई पट्टी वाला देश का पहला राज्य बना उत्तर प्रदेश

चीन में पिछले साल 163 अरब डॉलर का प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश हुआ जबकि अमेरिका में 134 अरब डॉलर का निवेश हुआ. इससे पहले साल 2019 में अमेरिका में प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश 251 अरब डॉलर था जबकि चीन इससे काफी पीछे था. साल 2019 में चीन में 140 अरब डॉलर का प्रत्यक्ष विदेशी निवेश हुआ था. कुल मिलाकर, 2020 में वैश्विक FDI में 2019 में $ 1.5 ट्रिलियन की तुलना में अनुमानित $ 859 बिलियन की आमद तक 42% की गिरावट आई थी.
