मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी कार्यालय, मेघालय को राष्ट्रीय सर्वश्रेष्ठ चुनावी आचरण पुरस्कार -2020 में भारतीय निर्वाचन आयोग (ECI) द्वारा चुनाव में सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी अनुप्रयोगों के लिए एक विशेष पुरस्कार के लिए चुना गया था. राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने नई दिल्ली में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस पुरस्कार समारोह में मेघालय के सीईओ एफ.आर. ख़ारकोंगर को वर्चुअली पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया.

अजीत विनायक मिस्र और शुभदर्शनी त्रिपाठी कजाकिस्तान की राजदूत नियुक्त
विदेश मंत्रालय ने आईएफएस अधिकारी अजीत विनायक गुप्ते को मिस्र के लिए भारत का अगला राजदूत नियुक्त किया है. उन्होंने इंडियन फॉरेन सर्विस में अपनी सेवा 1991 से शुरू की थी. उन्होंने चीन की मैड्रिन भाषा की पढ़ाई की है और वह चीन के मामलों के जानकार हैं. वे 1995-98 के बीच चीन में भारत के अंडर सेक्रेटरी रह चुके हैं. इसके अलावा गुप्ते बांग्लादेश में 2004-2008 तक बतौर राजनयिक तैनात रह चुके हैं.
तो वहीं 1994 बैच के IFS अधिकारी शुभदर्शनी त्रिपाठी को कजाकिस्तान गणराज्य में भारत के अगले राजदूत के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है, अभी वह उप-महानिदेशक, भारतीय सांस्कृतिक संबंध परिषद के पद पर हैं।

India ranked 10th in the list of 11 countries of the Asia-Pacific released recently regarding the progress of personal healthcare. कोलकाता में बोट लाइब्रेरी की शुरुआत
पश्चिम बंगाल परिवहन निगम ने एक बुक स्टोर के साथ मिलकर बच्चों के लिए नौका पर एक पुस्कालय की शुरुआत की है. राज्य में अपनी तरह की यह एक अनोखी पहल है.
नौका पुस्तकालय का मकसद है कि पाठक हुगली नदी पर नौका की सवारी करते हुए और कोलकाता की सुदंरता का लुत्फ उठाते हुए किताबें पढ़ सकें.
यंग रीडर्स बोट लाइब्रेरी पर बच्चों के लिए अंग्रेजी और बांग्ला भाषा की 500 किताबें उपलब्ध हैं. अधिकारी ने कहा कि नौका पुस्कालय पर पाठकों को तीन घंटे की यात्रा कराई जाएगी.
यह नौका मिलेनियम पार्क से शुरू होगी और बेलूर मठ जेटी तक जाएगी फिर वहां से वापस आएगी. इस पर मुफ्त वाईफाई की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध है. अधिकारी ने बताया कि बच्चों के लिए इसका शुल्क 50 रुपये और व्यस्कों के लिए 100 रुपये है.
The West Bengal Transport Corporation has started a library for children on a ferry with a book store. This is a unique initiative of its kind in the state.
The purpose of the boat library is that the readers can read the books while riding the boat on the Hooghly River and enjoy the beauty of Kolkata.
500 books in English and Bangla language for children are available at Young Readers Boat Library. The official said that readers will be given a three-hour journey at the ferry library.
This boat will start from Millennium Park and will go to Belur Math Jetty and then come back from there. Free wifi facility is also available on this. The official said that its fee is Rs 50 for children and Rs 100 for adults.

ओडिशा के भुवनेश्वर में शुरू हुआ ‘आदिवासी मेला 2021’
वर्ष 2021 के लिए भुवनेश्वर के आदिवासी प्रदर्शनी मैदान में 26 जनवरी को 'आदिवासी मेला' के नाम से 15 दिवसीय वार्षिक आदिवासी मेला शुरू हुआ। यह मैदान 9 फरवरी तक हर दिन सुबह 11 बजे से शाम 7 बजे तक जनता के लिए खुला रहेगा। यह मेला सालाना 1951 से आयोजित किया जाता है और यह भारतीय राशन का सबसे पुराना मेला है। आदिवासी मेला ओडिशा के आदिवासी के जीवन शैली, कलाकृतियों, हथकरघा और हस्तशिल्प को प्रदर्शित करता है।

केरल का जेंडर पार्क
केरल में देश का पहला “जेंडर पार्क” 11 फरवरी से चालू हो जाएगा। इसका निर्माण300 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से किया गया है। यह लैंगिक समानता की दिशा में राज्य का एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
यह जेंडर पार्क 11 फरवरी को ‘इंटरनेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस ऑन जेंडर इक्वेलिटी’ (ICGE-II) के दूसरे संस्करण के साथ चालू हो जाएगा। इस जेंडर पार्क और ICGE-II का उद्घाटन केरल के मुख्यमंत्री पिनाराई विजयन करेंगे। ICGE-II का आयोजन 11 फरवरी से 13 फरवरी, 2021 तक किया जाएगा।
इस सम्मेलन के उद्घाटन के दिन, International Women’s Trade and Research Centre (IWTRC) की नींव भी रखी जाएगी। इस IWTRC का उद्देश्य महिला उद्यमियों के लिए एक सुरक्षित पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र प्रदान करना है।
ICGE II: ICGE-II महिलाओं और ट्रांसजेंडरों की आर्थिक क्षमता को मजबूत करने के तरीके दूंढेगा ताकि उन्हें स्थायी उद्यमी बनाया जा सके। इस आयोजन का मुख्य विषय ‘Gender in Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Social Business: The Mediating Role of Empowerment’ होगा। यह UN Women (संयुक्त राष्ट्र का हिस्सा) के सहयोग से पार्क के परिसर में आयोजित किया जा रहा है।
