अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस प्रत्येक साल 8 मार्च को दुनियाभर में मनाया जाता है. ये दिन राजनीतिक, सामाजिक, आर्थिक और सांस्कृतिक विकास में महिलाओं की भागीदारी को बढ़ावा देने हेतु मनाया जाता है. इस दिन लोगों को लैंगिक समानता और महिलाओं के अधिकारों को लेकर जागरुक भी किया जाता है. इसे मनाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य समाज में महिलाओं के प्रति सम्मान और उनके अधिकारों को बढ़ावा देना है

संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला वर्ष 1975 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस मनाने की शुरूआत की थी। 1977 में, संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा ने सदस्य राज्यों को महिलाओं के अधिकारों और विश्व शांति के लिए 8 मार्च को संयुक्त राष्ट्र दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया था।

गूगल ने “Women Will” वेब प्लेटफ़ॉर्म लॉन्च किया
गूगल ने “अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस” के अवसर पर 8 मार्च 2021 को एक नया वेब प्लेटफॉर्म ‘Women Will’ लॉन्च किया है। यह मंच भारत में 1 मिलियन ग्रामीण महिलाओं को अपना समर्थन प्रदान करेगा ताकि वे त्वरक कार्यक्रमों, व्यावसायिक ट्यूटोरियल और मेंटरशिप की मदद से उद्यमी बन सकें।
इस वेब पोर्टल को अंग्रेजी और हिंदी भाषाओं में एक्सेस किया जा सकता है। यह गांवों में इच्छुक महिलाओं को अपनी रुचि जैसे सौंदर्य सेवाओं, टेलरिंग, होम ट्यूशन, फूड प्रोसेसिंग आदि को व्यवसाय में बदलने के लिए मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करेगा। यह व्यवसाय को प्रबंधित करने और बढ़ावा देने के लिए मार्गदर्शन भी प्रदान करेगा। शुरुआती चरण में, महिलाओं को उद्यमी बनाने में मदद करने के लिए गूगल 2,000 ‘इंटरनेट साथी’ के साथ काम करेगा।

Google has launched a new web platform 'Women Will' on 8 March 2021 on the occasion of "International Women's Day". The platform will provide support to 1 million rural women in India to become entrepreneurs with the help of accelerator programs, vocational tutorials and mentorship.
This web portal can be accessed in English and Hindi languages. It will provide guidance to aspiring women in the villages to convert their interest in business such as beauty services, tailoring, home tuition, food processing etc. It will also provide guidance to manage and promote the business. In the initial phase, Google will work with 2,000 'Internet partners' to help women become entrepreneurs.

बांग्लादेश की पहली ट्रांसजेंडर न्यूज एंकर बनीं तश्नुवा
बांग्लादेश की आजादी के 50 साल पूरे होने के मौके पर देश में पहली बार ट्रांसजेंडर को न्यूज एंकर बनाया जा रहा है। मॉडल, एक्टर तश्नुवा आनन शिशिर अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस यानी आठ मार्च को बतौर न्यूज एंकर एक चैनल पर अपनी पारी शुरू करेंगी।
किन्नर को एंकर बनाने की पहल बांग्लोदेश की बोइशखी टीवी ने की है। तश्नुवा ने वर्ष 2007 में थिएटर मंडली ‘नटुआ’ के साथ अभिनय के क्षेत्र में कदम बढ़ाए थे। इस साल वह दो फिल्मों में दिखाई देंगी।

7 मार्च को जन औषधि दिवस मनाया गया
प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंस के माध्यम से 'जन औषधि दिवस' समारोह को संबोधित किया. उन्होंने कार्यक्रम के दौरान NEIGRIHMS, शिलांग में 7500वां जन औषधि केंद्र को राष्ट्र को समर्पित किया.
जेनेरिक दवाओं के उपयोग के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिए “जन औषधि – सेवा भी, रोज़गार भी” के विषय के साथ 1 मार्च से 7 मार्च तक 'जन औषधि सप्ताह' के रूप में पूरे देश में मनाया जाता है.
जन औषधि योजना: यह योजना 2008 में यूपीए सरकार द्वारा शुरू की गई थी। वर्ष 2015 में, इस योजना को भारत के प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा फिर से शुरू किया गया था। यह अभियान देश भर में “जन औषधि मेडिकल स्टोर” के माध्यम से जेनेरिक दवाओं की बिक्री द्वारा शुरू किया गया था। सितंबर 2015 में ‘जन औषधि योजना’ का नाम बदलकर ‘प्रधानमंत्री जनऔषधि योजना’ (PMJAY) कर दिया गया था। इसे नवंबर 2016 में “प्रधानमंत्री भारतीय जनऔषधि योजना” कर दिया गया।

The campaign was launched by selling generic drugs through "Jan Aushadhi Medical Store" across the country. In September 2015, the name of 'Jan Aushadhi Yojana' was changed to 'Pradhan Mantri Janaushadhi Yojana' (PMJAY). It was changed to "Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Yojana" in November 2016.

केंद्रीय प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (CPCB) के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, भारत में 112 स्थल ऐसे हैं जो विषैले और खतरनाक पदार्थों से दूषित हैं। इसके अलावा, 168 स्थल ऐसे हैं जो दूषित हो सकते हैं, लेकिन इस संबंध में जांच और पुष्टि किए जाने की जाने की आवश्यकता है।

India's status as a democracy and an independent society has been downgraded to "partially liberated" in the latest annual report on global political rights and the independence of the US government-funded NGO Freedom House, which worldwide Studies political freedom. The report is titled "Freedom in the World 2021- Democracy under Siege". India's "fall from the upper ranks of independent nations could have a particularly damaging effect on global democratic standards".
India was given "free" status in the Freedom House report for 2018, 2019 and 2020, although its scores dropped from 77 to 71 on a scale of 100 over this period. In the latest report, India's score was 67 out of 100.
Freedom House: In 1973, Freedom House launched the Freedom in the World Report, which assessed the level of independence in each country and ranked them with a numerical score and rated them "free", "partially free" or " Declared "non-free".
दिल्ली कैबिनेट ने Delhi Board of School Education के गठन को मंजूरी दी
दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने घोषणा की है कि दिल्ली मंत्रिमंडल ने 6 मार्च, 2021 को दिल्ली बोर्ड ऑफ स्कूल एजुकेशन का गठन करने की स्वीकृति दी है।
अरविंद केजरीवाल ने यह भी कहा कि, दिल्ली में लगभग 1000 सरकारी स्कूल और 1700 निजी स्कूल हैं। उन्होंने कहा, सभी सरकारी स्कूल और यहां के अधिकांश निजी स्कूल केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड से संबद्ध हैं। सरकार ने शैक्षणिक सत्र 2021-2022 में दिल्ली बोर्ड ऑफ स्कूल एजुकेशन के तहत 20-25 स्कूलों को शामिल करने की भी योजना बनाई है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि, इन सभी स्कूलों की सीबीएसई संबद्धता को समाप्त कर दिया जाएगा। उन्हें नए बोर्ड के तहत संबद्धता दी जाएगी।

दिल्ली बोर्ड ऑफ स्कूल एजुकेशन में एक शासी निकाय शामिल होगा जिसकी अध्यक्षता दिल्ली सरकार के शिक्षा मंत्री करेंगे। इसमें एक कार्यकारी निकाय भी शामिल होगा जिसकी अध्यक्षता एक मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी करेगा। नए बोर्ड का गठन इस तरह की शिक्षा प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से किया गया है जो देशभक्त और आत्म-निर्भर छात्र तैयार करेगा जो समाज और राष्ट्र की सेवा नि: स्वार्थ तरीके से करेंगे। यह बोर्ड राज्य की स्कूली शिक्षा के लिए सर्वोत्तम अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रथाओं और उच्च-अंत तकनीकों को लाने का प्रयास भी करेगा। यह छात्रों की योग्यता के अनुसार शिक्षा प्रदान करेगा। नया बोर्ड रट्टा सीखने पर ध्यान केंद्रित नहीं करेगा, लेकिन यह व्यक्तित्व विकास और अवधारणाओं की समझ पर फोकस करेगा।
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that the Delhi Cabinet has approved the formation of Delhi Board of School Education on 6 March 2021.
Arvind Kejriwal also said that, Delhi has about 1000 government schools and 1700 private schools. He said, all government schools and most of the private schools here are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The government also plans to include 20-25 schools under the Delhi Board of School Education in the academic session 2021-2022. The Chief Minister said that, CBSE affiliation of all these schools will be abolished. They will be given affiliation under the new board.

The Delhi Board of School Education will include a governing body which will be chaired by the Education Minister of the Delhi Government. It will also include an executive body headed by a chief executive officer. The new board has been formed with the objective of imparting such education that will create patriotic and self-reliant students who will serve the society and the nation in a selfless manner. The board will also strive to bring best international practices and high-end technologies to state schooling. It will provide education according to the merit of the students. The new board will not focus on Ratta learning, but it will focus on personality development and understanding of concepts.

भारतीय रेलवे के पश्चिम रेलवे जोन ने ट्रेन चालक दल और नियंत्रण केंद्र तथा स्टेशन मास्टर के बीच सीधे और निरंतर संचार की सुविधा के लिए एक मोबाइल ट्रेन रेडियो संचार (MTRC) प्रणाली शुरू की है. प्रभावी संचार के माध्यम से, यह तकनीकी रूप से उन्नत प्रणाली ट्रेन दुर्घटनाओं को रोकने में मदद करेगी. यह नई संचार प्रणाली पहले से ही 105 रेक में तैनात की गई है, जो चर्चगेट से विरार के बीच मुंबई के उपनगरीय खंड में परिचालन करती है.
Western Railway Zone of Indian Railways has introduced a Mobile Train Radio Communication (MTRC) system to facilitate direct and continuous communication between the train crew and the control center and station master. Through effective communication, this technologically advanced system will help prevent train accidents. This new communication system has already been deployed at 105 rakes, which operate in the suburban section of Mumbai between Churchgate to Virar.
