प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस: 9 जनवरी
प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस प्रतिवर्ष 09 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है. प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस मनाने का उद्देश्य उन प्रवासी भारतीयों को मान्यता देना है जिन्होंने भारत के विकास में योगदान दिया है. प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस पहली बार साल 2003 में मनाया गया था. 16वें प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस सम्मेलन का मुख्य विषय ‘आत्मनिर्भर भारत में योगदान’ है.
प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस 09 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है क्योंकि महात्मा गांधी 09 जनवरी 1915 को दक्षिण अफ्रीका से भारत लौटे थे. महात्मा गांधी को सबसे महान प्रवासी माना जाता है जिन्होंने न केवल भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम का नेतृत्व किया बल्कि भारतीयों के जीवन को हमेशा के लिए बदल दिया. इसीलिए 09 जनवरी को प्रवासी भारतीय दिवस मनाया जाता है.

भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (RBI) ने विनियमित संस्थाओं पर पर्यवेक्षण को और मजबूत करने "पर्यवेक्षकों का एक कॉलेज (College of Supervisors)" नामक एक शैक्षणिक सलाहकार परिषद का गठन किया है। इस कॉलेज की अध्यक्षता RBI के पूर्व डिप्टी गवर्नर एन एस विश्वनाथन करेंगे और इसमें पांच अन्य सदस्य शामिल होंगे।
परिषद का उद्देश्य उन क्षेत्रों की पहचान करेगा जहां कौशल निर्माण / अप-स्किलिंग की आवश्यकता होती है, सभी कार्यक्रमों के पाठ्यक्रम की योजना बनाएगा और उसे विकसित करेगा, अंतरराष्ट्रीय मानकों / सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं के साथ कार्यक्रमों को बेंचमार्क करेगा, उपयुक्त शिक्षण विधियों का विकास आदि करेगा।

पश्चिमी विशेष मालवाहक गलियारे यानी वेस्टर्न डेडिकेटेड फ्रेट कॉरिडोर (Western Dedicated Freight Corridor) का न्यू रेवाड़ी – न्यू मदार खण्ड हरियाणा और राजस्थान में आता है. इस कॉरिडोर में 9 नए मालवाहक गलियारा स्टेशन हैं. इनमें 3 जंक्शन स्टेशन न्यू रेवाड़ी, न्यू अटेली और न्यू फुलेरा हैं.

पहली बार टूर्नामेंट 31 दिन तक चलेगा। इससे पहले साल 2019 में यूएई में 29 दिन तक टूर्नामेंट चला था। टूर्नामेंट ज्यादा दिनों के लिए इसलिए की गई है ताकि टीमों को चीन के एक शहर से दूसरे शहर में जाने के बाद आराम करने का टाइम मिल सके।
